On September 18th, 2023, you could order a Classic Cheeseburger, Classic Burger, or Classic Bacon Cheeseburger with fries for just $8.99 when you order at any Applebee’s, online, or on the app.
50% off all burgers at Bar Louie
On September 18th, 2023, Bar Louie offered 50% off all burgers in honor of National Cheeseburger Day.
Cheeseburgers were just $3 with your beverage purchase at Burger Fi.
Guests purchasing a Coca-Cola Freestyle Beverage at Burger Fi on National Cheeseburger Day 2023 could add a premium BurgerFi Cheeseburger for $3.
Royal Perks members got a free Cheeseburger at Burger King.
On September 18th, 2023, all Royal Perks members (free to join) could receive a free cheeseburger with any $1 purchase. This deal was exclusively available for Royal Perks members through the BK app or bk.com.
Then, Burger King offered a full week of special offers in honor of National Cheeseburger Day, as follows:
- Tuesday, 9/19 – FREE Whopper Jr with a $1+ purchase
- Wednesday, 9/20 – $3 Whoppers
- Thursday, 9/21 – BOGO Whoppers
- Friday, 9/22 – FREE order of Onion Rings with any $1+ purchase

Rewards members got half off cheeseburgers at Carl’s Jr.
On September 18th, 2023 only, My Rewards members got half off all cheeseburgers in the Carl’s Jr. App.
FREE Cheeseburgers at Dairy Queen
On National Cheeseburger Day 2023, you could get a FREE Dairy Queen Original Cheeseburger with any $1 or more purchase when you ordered through the mobile app! Limit one per customer at participating locations.
Cheeseburger were just $5.99 (regularly $11.99) at Dog Haus.
On National Cheeseburger Day 2023, you could get a cheeseburger at participating Dog Haus locations for half price – just $5.99! This offer required a coupon, which could be obtained via text.
$3 Big Cheese at Farmer Boys
On September 18th, 2023, from 2:00 PM until closing time, you could get a Big Cheese at Farmer Boys for only $3 (limit 4).
FREE Original Double from Freddy’s
Freddy’s app users got a FREE Original Double on National Cheeseburger Day 2023. No purchase was required!
Cheese Krystals were only $1.
On National Cheeseburger Day 2023, you could get up to five Cheese Krystals for just $1 (regularly $1.57). This offer was valid via the Krystal app and www.krystal.com.
A double cheeseburger was just 50¢ at McDonald’s (regularly $4.59).
On September 18th only, McDonald’s served up their double cheeseburger for only 50¢ (regularly $4.59) when you ordered through the app – limit 1 per person! Best of all, no additional purchase was needed!
$5 Classic Single at Smashburger
Smashburger offered $5 Classic Singles from Monday, 9/18 through Wednesday, 9/20. Customers could claim this deal in the restaurant or online with a promo code. This offer included Classic Singles, Classic Single Turkey Burgers, and Classic Single Black Bean Burgers.
Cheeseburger bundles at Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day 2023 with two cheeseburger bundles! They had a $10 cheeseburger, fries, and soda/tea bundle OR a $12 cheeseburger, fries, and 22-oz. Coors Light or Miller Lite bundle.
50% off all burgers at Wahlburgers
Participating U.S. Wahlburgers locations had 50% off all burgers on National Cheeseburger Day 2023.
BOGO Classic Burgers at Wayback Burgers
On September 18th, 2023, Wayback Burgers celebrated National Cheeseburger Day with BOGO Classic Burgers when you ordered on the Wayback app, in-restaurant, or online.
Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers for just 1¢ at Wendy’s
In 2023, Wendy’s Rewards members could grab a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for just one cent with any purchase. This offer could be found in your Wendy’s Rewards account.
BOGO Single Cheese Sliders at White Castle.
From September 18th through September 20th, 2023, you could get a BOGO Single Cheese Slider (limit one free) with this coupon.

I was surprised that only one of these offers were at restaurants that are in my area. I’ve never heard of most of these. I live in Portland, OR
The only ones we have are BK, McDonald’s & Dairy Queen. But we have tons of mom & pop shops that serve CBs
Not a lot of things I miss about NJ after moving to NC many years ago, but White Castle (and WaWa stores, lol) are definitely two of them!

I can’t find anything about this on their website, but apparently Shake Shack is offering a free cheeseburger on National Cheeseburger Day between 11 am – 2 pm when you order through DoorDash and use code “SHACK”. 🤷♀️

Never heard of most of these places. Also for many you have to have the app or be a rewards member. I don’t want all those different apps on my phone. I tried to get the Chic-fil-A app and couldn’t get it to work. Plus even when I do have one, I don’t know for sure how to use it, even asked at the restaurant once and they didn’t know either.
Same. I don’t want to have all these apps on my phone. That is how they track you. If it requires an app, I don’t bother with the business.

I’ve finally broke down and put one restaurant app on my phone and half the time it doesn’t work right. I have no desire to have all these restaurant apps on my phone. Wish more people would refuse this so they would get away from using this as their way to promote offers. On the plus side I’ve resisted several temptations to spend money on what I didn’t need by not having apps 🙃

If you have a Culver’s nearby, check in with them today. I’m a rewards member (free) and received an e-mail early this morning that they have their Double Deluxe Cheeseburgers on sale 2/$8.00, just show them the e-mail. Hard to beat a Culver’s burger! I’m in western AZ, so not sure if it’s a regional promotion.
