Arrived on time. The item was exactly as described.. a fun game for the whole family! My daughter loved it. She’s 6 and she’s a big fan of the movie.
Very simple game, although the instructions could have been written a little better. Each turn you swap two cards on the board to either make a match to complete a goal, or to get a card in a better position. You can also swap one from your hand with one on the board. *OR* discard one toy part from the bench and replace it with one from the deck. As far as I can understand (and the instructions aren’t specific here), you must swap cards to make a match.
You cannot just grab cards that already match at the start of your turn, as the first step of your turn is a card swap and there is no indication that you can skip that step. Some turns you will be unable to make a match. Hope that clarifies any confusion (or maybe it’s just me lol). All in all a fun game at a great price. If you are a TNBC fan, this one is worth getting!
This game seemed geared more toward children, but I must admit — I enjoyed it very much! It was cute, simple to learn, and fun to play. The cards are adorable and feature favorite characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. For the price, it was a great value and makes an excellent gift.
