Thanks…Great deal, but…Not sure if any of you have the same problem, but I live in Southern CA, and have not purchased anything from Walgreens in almost a year. If there is a deal or an item on sale, they rarely have the products in stock at any of my local stores, nor is it available for shipping. I don’t see their business lasting much longer. They just aren’t a good retailer anymore.

I bought the 2 lipsticks for a total of $3.98 but the $4.00 coupon did not apply. Cashier said it was probably because it was 2 cents short and nothing she could do about it. Oh well, it’s still a great price for lipstick.

If you opt for online ordering, you’ll need to be sure your order is at least $10, as that’s the minimum for Walgreens. 💕

The cashier gave you the correct information. From the Walgreens coupon policy: Walgreens cannot accept coupons for greater than the selling price of an item and cash back cannot be provided in exchange for any coupons. The total value of all coupons cannot be greater than the value of the transaction pre-tax. Sales tax will be applied if required by state law. However on an online or store pickup order the software is set up to scale the value of the coupon downward to match the sale price of the item. It works that way to account for an item that is out of stock online. It is one of the peculiarities of Walgreens that can sometimes work in the customer’s favor. Best wishes to you.
