When you order the pizza, add a note to make it on a ‘cold crust’ so that the yeast has not yet activated, and it will bake much better when you are ready. Also, be sure to ask the Papa Murphy’s crew member to double-wrap the pizza, which will better protect it from freezer burn.
At home, freeze the pizza immediately and use it within 21 days. When ready to bake, thaw it in the refrigerator for 24 hours, then let it sit at room temperature for about 60 minutes before cooking.
