Patagonia wants to help make your spring cleaning just a little bit easier this May! All month long, you can trade in your used Patagonia gear to the brand’s Worn Wear program, and you’ll get FREE shipping on everything you send in!
Worn Wear is Patagonia’s solution for your gently used gear. Its mission is to help customers cut down on consumption by trading, repairing, recycling, and caring for the gear that customers already own.
Here’s how Patagonia’s Worn Wear trade-in program works…
Patagonia offers trade-in credit for items that you no longer use. They accept select clothing and gear that functions perfectly and is in good condition. Note that they do not accept any of the following items:
- Accessories including hats gloves or scarves
- Embroidered items
- Next-to-skin items such as undergarments swimwear or leggings
- T-shirts
- Shoes
- Sleeping bags
- Wetsuits or waders
HIP TIP: Patagonia will NOT return trade-in items to the customer for any reason, so be sure that your gear is functional and within the Worn Wear program guidelines before sending it in. Take a moment to review Worn Wear’s list of accepted items before preparing your shipment.
You can trade in your used Patagonia gear at any store or mail in your items with a prepaid shipping label. Normally, there’s a $7 shipping and handling charge deducted from any credit issued, but the mail-in process is completely FREE for the entire month of May!
When your Patagonia gear is accepted, you’ll receive credit toward purchases in Patagonia retail stores, on WornWear.com and Patagonia.com. Your exact store credit will be determined after your items have been received and inspected, but you can see a list of estimated trade-in values here.
