I am a working mom and I pump twice at work for the baby’s next day feeding and my baby uses 3 to 4 bottles in a day. Sterilizing all the pump parts and the bottles in boiling water will almost take an hour. This steam sterilizer has made my life much easier. I just do two loads in this and the work is down under 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this for all bottle-feeding moms.
This is worth every penny if you are an avid Avent user. It fits 6 of their bottles, rings, and nipples. We have 2 different sterilizers and this one is our favorite. I wish we had spent the money on 2 of these sterilizers instead for our twins as they both use the Wide Avent bottles. One thing I must mention is that you always use distilled water as it keeps the machine working efficiently. Learned this a little late, but vinegar worked AMAZING on the hard water and calcium build-up.
