Let’s face it, there are about 500 different choices for Playdoh play kits out there. Some have cutters, some have stamps, and some have that awesome squeezy stapler-looking apparatus. This kit has them all. ALL. It’s got a little of everything, INCLUDING some smaller-sized containers of Playdoh itself. It’s marketed as the perfect preschool kit and I will tell you right now that it definitely is. There is a LOT that can be done with the contents of this box. It is a spanking deal and, if they’re anything like mine, it will keep your kids occupied with cutting and squeezing and molding PlayDoh for quite a while. The little mats are a great inclusion too…a big thank you to the creator of the kit for helping to keep my dining table safe and making clean up a little bit easier!

Actually bought this to try to innate a child’s creativity. The great thing about this is they’re little to no instructions. There’s no right or wrong way. The child looks at the form and decides on what they want to create. There are no pictures to try to emulate, there are no step-by-step instructions to make a child feel like they’re not doing it right. This actually ended up being a great toy for children that sometimes feel defeated, they’re able to make their own creation and whatever comes out of that creation they don’t feel bad because the form provided is so abstract that many creatures/designs can come from it. This is really good for embarking on imagination from a child that feels that they do not have a creative bone.
