I am very lucky that my ibotta offer is $2.00 back and my Publix has the canisters on a BOGO sale. Pay $4.29 for two and receive $4.00 from ibotta. I’ve been donating a lot of oatmeal to my church’s food pantry,

Awesome offer, Theresa! Thanks for the heads up on the deal you can snag from Publix! πŸ™ŒπŸ’–

Skip Walgreens, go to Costco, and pick up 10 lbs (160 ounces) for $13. That is $1.30 per lb for Quaker Oats.
So, you’re getting 36 ounces, which is 2lbs 4 ounces for $3.50 = $0.0972 per ounce. Or if you buy it from Costco, it works out to $0.08125 per ounce, which is about a 20% savings, without dealing with the cash back.

It really sucks when the cost of oatmeal has gone up by 50% in the past year, as this is a staple and one of the least expensive foods someone can eat.

Skip Walgreens, go to Costco, and pick up 10 lbs (160 ounces) for $14

    Walgreens: – 36 ounces, e.g. 2lbs 4 ounces for $3.50 = $0.0972 per ounce.
Costco = 160 ounces e.g. 10 lbs for $14 = $0.09 per ounce without dealing with the cash back.

Of course, if you don’t have a Costco membership this is a good deal. It is terrible that inflation has literally increased the cost of oatmeal by more than 50% in the past year, Oatmeal is a staple and one of the least expensive foods someone can eat.

Using just a few WC dollars can really help the food budget. Right now Cheez-it’s and Lay Potato chips are b1g1 free so if you have any extra WC and like those items that’s b2g2 free. Spam has a nice $1 digital. Anytime Walgreens has a big digital coupon such as Cyber30 recently or Senior Week look at the food items and pair digitals and Ibottas with WC. The savings add up.

I keep an eye out for the $1.99 cereal deals offered by the drug stores. They usually also have a digital $1.00/2 coupon. They have the best cereals deals now.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Ooh! Great deal for sure. Thanks for the suggestion to keep an eye out for that cereal deal! πŸ‘€πŸ’–
