I use rain-x about every two months. Put it on the front, back, and mirrors plus the side/front windows. Makes frost easier to remove, and soooo much easier to see when it’s raining. Makes driving in the rain much safer.
For my glass shower enclosure, I used a soft t-shirt rag to apply the product and a microfiber cloth to shine it up. Left no residual at all. Water beaded up on it after I turned the shower on, but it wiped right off. Even after I let the water beads dry, they easily came off. I found that a clean microfiber cloth works best for shining up after application. So I started out folding it in half, used each side, turned it inside out then fold it in half again.
We have hard water, so this is a Godsend! Now, I don’t have to scrub my shower for 2 hours every month! Highly recommend.
