The game is a ton of fun. Very similar to the original Betrayal, just a few tweaks made here and there to simplify it. This is a great introductory game if you have kids and are wanting to step into the world of board games!! Loved it!
Highly recommend it to the Scooby enthusiast or to someone wanting a fun stepping stone toward some of the more complex board games out there! Again, really liked it!
My 10-year-old loves this game he got for Christmas. His 13-year-old brother likes it as well. Dad (me) also enjoys playing it with them! It can be a little intimidating at first because it feels like there is a lot going on, but the game mechanics are really not that complicated.
I wish some of the instructions in the booklet were a bit more clear, but just read through each Haunt carefully and things should generally make sense. Note, it might be best to have older players be the Monster or learn the Haunt together.
