That’s a great deal! I’ve been looking for a way to keep an eye on my credit without paying for it.
If my credit is frozen, do I still get $20? Anyone try and see?
Hi Yvonne! I found this in the terms and conditions if helpful – To receive the rewards points offer, you must successfully complete setting up Credit Score Monitoring.
I have my credit frozen through all three reporting agents. However, each one allows you to monitor your credit through them and provides you their scores for free. You are also able to monitor everything that’s on your account with them in an instant. I froze my credit years ago and whenever I need to unfreeze it it’s a quick login. Also, many banks provide you your FICO score monitoring for free. This is different than credit bureaus.
It’s important to note that TransUnion is just one and the others might have something different on them. Depending on which one a place pulls it could cost you if mistakes are not caught.
Thanks for sharing, Kara! Freezing your credit really is a great way to add that extra layer of protection, and it’s awesome you pointed out how easy it is to temporarily unfreeze when needed. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and tips! ❤️
