I have been shopping at Soma for these pamajas for many years, in fact I bought my first pair 18 years ago for christmas. I love cool night pajamas. I just wanted to let people know the sizing changed this year. Soma does not have free returns so I wanted to warn people to size up. Soma in 2023 stopped making tall and short sizes in these cool nights pajamas and the new size is running short and small. I have measured them to my pairs from past years and the length on the top is about 4 inches shorter and the pants are about 2.5 inches shorter and the hips are 3 inches smaller. I wear a size 10 in Gap pants and a Medium or Large in a top. I used to take a large in the cool nights pajamas and the top was a little big but comfy. Now the large and I bought 3 sets already, is too small in the shirt length, in the thigh and length on pants and I have not gained any weight (I have BMI under 25 ) . I had to go to an extra large and they still are a bit smaller then past years. I love the fabric, just sad about the changes. If you look at the reviews, Im not the only one, there are many long time customers voicing concerns and wanting the old sizing back where you could pick the length of your top and bottom in short, regular or tall. Sorry for the long story, but Soma charges $8 a pair to return and I know most people here are trying to save money so I just wanted to help if I could. I ordered 3 pairs earlier this year thinking they all always so great and was shocked to learn the sizing changes which Soma admits to. If you buy size up or read the reviews to find someone maybe with a similar size to you, many women posted reviews of the size changes with measurements .
