This Southwest Airlines sale has some amazing deals and destinations!

Through July 29th, fly on over to Southwest.com, where they are offering select one-way or round-trip “Wanna Get Away flights” for as low as $49! Now would be the perfect time to plan your end-of-summer or winter vacation!

These flights are valid from August 8th, 2024, through January 29th, 2025, for continental US travel and August 20th, 2024, through February 10th, 2025, for international/Hawaii/Puerto Rico travel. You must book at least 21 days in advance.

While selecting your flights, savings on the base fare will be visible as a strike-through of the original fare on eligible flights. Discount availability may vary by destination, flight, and day of the week and will not be available on some flights that operate during busy travel times and holiday periods.

Seats are limited and discounted tickets are only available on select days/times, so you’ll want to make a purchase as soon as possible!

Southwest customers will have assigned seats in 2025!

Southwest has just announced that they are going to be getting rid of open seating and moving to assigned seats to enhance the customer experience. They will also be offering premium seating options. These changes are expected to be bookable at some point next year.

Additional updates are also being made including faster WiFi, new in-seat power, larger overhead bins, and more comfortable seats. You can see the full initiative here.

    I know some people don’t like the A,B,C seating on Southwest but we have always appreciated that flexibility! It sounds like you’ll have to pay to select your seats, which goes against Southwest’s all inclusive pricing model. Many times on other airlines, we’ve had to sit apart bc we are money savers and can’t always justify the extra seating cost 🤭
