Because several of my friends and I either MUST avoid sugar or are avoiding sugar for other reasons, I use Stevia Splenda for coffee and tea, for making jam, and sometimes for baking. Stevia Splenda is the ONLY sugar substitute that I can use to make jam. All the other sugar substitutes I tried caused the jam to crystallize, making it crunchy and unpalatable. For other uses, other sugar substitutes generally worked fine, but I’ll stick with Stevia Splenda for the jam.
I got tired of Monk Fruit’s cooling effect, which I use instead of regular sugar for my keto diet, so I tried this… definitely works better-tasting cookies, cakes, and pies.
