Has anyone tried to do more than one transaction? Iβd love to do more than one, but if it only works one time per account, I really need to prioritize which sets are most important for me to get!
Hi Heather! I did find these details in the terms and conditions of each Circle Offer π –
Spend $30 Get a Free $10 Gift Card Circle Offer – Limit one coupon/offer per guest.
50% off select Beauty Gift Sets Circle Offer – Limit 1 Target Circle account per transaction and 6 Target Circle transactions per day.
Thanks! I guess Iβll have to decide which to get for the $10 giftcard transaction, then.
You’re welcome, Heather! π
I did three transactions in store and got the $10 gift card with each transaction
You can do it multiple times
I did an online order and shopped in store. I received two $10 gift cards.
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know!
I have the problem where if I add 3 for $10 it does not give me the 50% off . It seems like to get 50% off you canβt combine. I even asked another blog and I was told the same thing
My second online order has been a headache. Target charged me for the βfreeβ gift card twice. I opened a chat and a rep told me not to worry repeatedly then disconnected. I know itβs not a lot of money but it feels fraudulent. Watch your receipts carefully!! This may be enough for me to not shop at Target ever again.
I placed two online orders and received two separate gift cards.
Yay! Thanks for sharing how this worked for you, Mira! π
Anyone else have this issue? I have tried tons of varations of items and it is taking off $3.89 off the $9.99 gift sets? It says I have 3 deals 50% $3.89 (50% off of $9.99 should be $4.99 or $5?) red card discount .21 and the gift card promo. So it is making the 9.99 sets after the 50% and my red card 5.88?
It is not taking 50% off the old spice sets for sure. I talked to CS and they gave me a credit , they said there is a glitch in the discount on a few items so check you invoices. I would not have noticed because it was just a few dollars if I didnt take an item in and out of my cart.
Wow! Thanks for sharing the helpful information you received from customer service, Cammie! π€π
This is also happening to me, when I add the 3rd set it changes it to not being 50 percent off
Happening to me! If you add 3 sets, it’s $25
From recollection (and what I’m seeing in my cart rn) I believe what happens is that once you have a qualifying 10 dollar gift card on the purchase, it reduces the spend amount by that much for the purposes of calculating the percentage off discount. This happens in cart all the time when offers stack at Target. Which is easier to see online when you expand and view the offers applied breakdown. Still a good deal, just wish they didn’t count the value of an earned gc against the discount.
Thats not the case. If you have 3, it’s $15. Add a 4th and it turns to $25.
I was able to do the gift card deal multiple times.
Do they not have a free shipping threshold anymore? I canβt seem to get it and donβt see it anywhere
Hey there, Amy! You can score free shipping if you’re a Red Card holder or on qualifying purchases of $35 or more! Hoping this is helpful! π
I got it. Thanks! Not sure why it wasnβt coming off at first
Yay! You’re welcome! Thanks for the update, Amy! π₯°
For the Maybelline Mascara + Eyeliner set deal – If it’s 50% off then shouldn’t you only have to pay $15.99? Or is it 50% off of just one set? I feel completely lost on this deal for some reason…..
Basically, it seems that Target calculates value of the gift card as a discount on the price, BEFORE the 50% off.
I did this in store and bought 3 of the $10 sets. But I looked at my receipt and I paid $6.66 each one and got the gift card. I assumed they would be $5 since they were 50% off
This also happened to me. I chatted online with CS and they issued me a refund
Maybe I should do that and see if they will refund me also. Thanks!
I bought the 3 of $10 sets but I didnβt receive gift card.
This deal makes no sense. 50% off if $30 is $15 not $20. So you are paying for the gift card too basically.
I did this transaction today in store and looking at my receipt the answer is yes.
Yes, Target considers the value of the gift card earned on the transaction as a discount off the price before taking off a percentage discount. So it isn’t 50% off of the listed price, it is 50% off the price AFTER/ minus the value of the gift card earned in the transaction (depends on the pro-rated value of the gift card spread between the number and cost of the items in your cart).
You are absolutely right! Target is doing everything they can to minimize your saving.
I tried to checkout and it wouldn’t ship unless the order was $35 or more. And I’m a Redcard member
It seems there are some exclusions as some items will only ship free with orders of $35 or more.β€οΈ
Has anyone seen the gift sets for women that have one razor handle with multiple refill cartridge heads? (previous years had BIC Soleil with 10 replacement heads). One of my girls love these sets and I haven’t seen them this year.
We’ll keep an eye out for any deals on those sets, Ella! ππ
Can anyone tell me how to get the fetch rewards for an online order? I don’t want to link my email address. Will taking a picture of my invoice if I print it out work
Hey there! It seems you can use email or link to online retailer accounts. You can find more details on how that works here. π
I tried this deal on the computer last night and as I was about to check out, the set went out of stock. I ended up having to a return at Target today and thought I’d check the store by my daughter’s school to see if they had any Dr Teals Sets, they did. I bought 3 but the order came to $29.97 before tax and then of course the 50% off beauty sets circle offer. So the register didn’t prompt a gift card. I went to customer service and she said it’s not a gift card but it will show up as a Target Circle Bonus Cash. ππ Which that’s not what it says, it says gift card. So I got in my car and chatted with Customer Service, they said it’s because 4 Dr Teals Sets have to be purchased to get the Promotional Gift Card. So consider yourself lucky, for those of you who got it. Customer Service was nice enough to send me one anyways. All that cause of $0.03.
Oh wow. Thanks for sharing how your purchase worked out for you. SO glad customer service could help! ππ
I was worried about that too so I bought four of the Dr. Teal set and it still didnβt give me a gift card
π«€ oh no. I would use the chat feature online and say you were suppose to get one and didn’t. Or give the customer service number a call.
Thanks for the helpful response! I was going to suggest the same. π₯°
I tried that. The lady online said you either get the 50% off or you get the gift card you canβt get both. I know thatβs not true but itβs not worth the fight.
Oh wow π I’m sorry, that definitely stinks. Though most of us have been there on one deal or a few. Good thing it’s there’s always more deals.
True!
The gift card is not showing up I the deal above for the bath and body gift sets?
Hey Ana! Be sure to “clip” the Target circle offer, and add at least $30 worth of gift sets to your cart for the gift card details to show up in your cart – though it won’t be an actual gift card added to your order just yet, but you should see the wording during checkout about it being available. If you’re picking up your order, the egift card will be emailed after you’ve picked up. If you’re shipping your order, it will arrive via email once your order ships. I just grabbed this deal yesterday and already received the shipping email and egift card. Hope this helps! β€οΈ
Didn’t end up checking out yesterday… same items in my cart and Target has changed how it is coded to work on the website because it is now calculating the full 50% off (unlike yesterday) BUT, you have to spend 30 dollars AFTER the 50% off (so you the total, not the subtotal before 50% off needs to be over 30). I had to put over 60 dollars of set value into my cart, got just over 30 dollars off THEN the earned the gift card appears. Which differs from yesterday’s in cart calculation and the post above!
Thanks for sharing an update on how it’s working for you now, Helen. I’m seeing the same on my end compared to the order I placed yesterday. β€οΈ Sure appreciate the heads up!
So even though it is $30 before the discounts, they will still give you the gift card? I did a pickup order, and it was $30 but not showing the qualifying $10 gift card.
Hi Tracy! Did you place you order yesterday or today? I grabbed this deal yesterday and there was verbiage at checkout about the $10 egift card being applied – and did receive it on my $30 order in combination with the 50% off Target Circle offer. However, it seems the way the deal works today is a bit different, in that you’ll need to spend $30 after the 50% off in order to receive the gift card. We’ll get this updated. Depending on your order details, you might contact customer service to follow-up on the promotional gift card. β€οΈ
So I bought two sets and got the 50% off, which came to $15.00 and then 5% off with Redcard. It didnβt trigger the $10 gift card because my total was $15.75 it definitely sounds too good to be true that it would work before the discount. Is it listed somewhere in store policy that way, because it seems like everyone experiences something different. I did store pickup and wonder if I might have had a different result if I purchased in store.
So sorry for that confusion. It seems it can vary as the offers can change as to how they may apply, just as this one did. We’ll keep watch for more offers like these. ππ
Thank you! I got the Curology set for my teen for Christmas. $10.35 after the $10 gift card, so I think that is a good deal and the skincare items are more of the natural variety/
Youβre very welcome, Kimberly! Nice score for your daughter! ππ
I bought $30 in store yesterday, and was able to get the 50% off and $10 giftcard. I (mentally) planned all day at work today for my second transaction tonight, and now the giftcard wonβt apply to my cart (I assume the one per customer has now kicked in). Just a warning for anyone else wanting to do more than one order for the giftcard with purchase. It seems the one per person is now in effect π
Hi Heather! Thanks for the update on how the deal is working for you. It has changed a bit, where the gift card doesn’t apply on a $30 order before the 50% off, now the total needs to be at least $30 after all other discounts to trigger the eGift card. I grabbed this deal for shipping yesterday, and was still able to add $30 (after discounts) worth of gift sets to a new order today and received the eGift card message then. Hoping this is helpful if you wanted to check out some of the new scenarios we’ve updated with the post with based on this. β€οΈπ€
Buyer …beware & check your receipt in the store. Yesterday I had to go to 2 stores to access this deal. The first store was such a disorganized mess. Gondola carts were stacked with boxes of merchandise just left in various aisles throughout the store …like an obstacle course…very few employees working on stock. I left.
The second store was organized and stocked. I easily found the beauty sets and other sale items that were included in the gift card deal ! There were only 2 registers open so I went through the self-checkout. Hah… Evidently they weren’t programmed correctly because everything scanned at full price and no $10. gift card in any form showed up. Luckily the customer service desk line was empty. The clerk was surprised that everything scanned at regular price. So she returned my stuff & manually re-rang it it to give me the sale price & handed me a $10 gift card.
Thanks so much for sharing about your in-store shopping experience for this deal at two stores, Be. π Bummer to hear about the stock and troubles with the promotional pricing and eGift card during checkout. Glad to hear customer service was prompt and helpful with correcting the transaction for you!
For the $10 GC for a $30 purchase, will mfg coupons be subtracted first before calculating the $30 total? It is hard to determine what gets netted out before the dollar requirement is met
Thx.
Hi there! It seems the total now needs to be $30 after all discounts. π
I bought the Beloved and Maybeline sets (2) and picked up in store. No problem there but Fetch rejected both purchases. Anyone else have that problem?
