This does an exceptional job cleaning my hard surface wood floors. I thought my floors were already mostly clean (been using a good mop for months) but the gross brown water in the waste tank after cleaning with this unit spoke for itself. I’m embarrassed to know my floors were that nasty because I mopped all the time with a regular mop.
I mop and sweep 3 times a week. I thought my floors were clean until I used this. Truly a huge shocker. After three passes the water continued to be pitch black. The entire time I thought my floors were clean I was largely mistaken. If you mop and sweep your floors often I would say this is a major investment you need to get into. Only regret is not finding this sooner!
Can you just vaccum with this or does it only do the combined mop and vaccum?
Great question, Mary Ann! I found this on Tineco’s site – “We do not advise to use it as dry vacuum, which could cause damage to the brush roller. Ideally you would want to use the appliance with solution and water to ensure an ideal cleaning result.” Hope this helps! 💓
