I don’t get it. I am going to Universal at the end of the month. This is the deal Groupon has been running for the past 6 months and the same deal you can get on Universals website
Can anyone say if this is an appropriate vacay for a kid that is scared of roller coasters? He loves the themes but I hate to waste money.
We took my 6 yr old and he is afraid of rides. Felt like a big waste as he would only go on the minion “ride” where you stand and shoot the gun. If you are hesitant I would wait as it’s a lot of money if they spend the entire day afraid.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Stephanie! Such helpful insight, especially for anyone with younger kiddos who might feel the same way. Hoping your next trip ends up being more fun for everyone! 💖
We just took our 7 year old who is afraid of roller coasters and I would agree that it was a lot of money for a kid to essentially experience the world of Harry Potter (our child was too scared of the rides). The only kid-friendly section is Dr Seuss at Islands of Adventure. There are other rides our child enjoyed but I am of the opinion that Universal is best for teens and/or kids that enjoy roller coasters/thrill rides. If you do find yourself with small children at either park, the Shrek playground at Universal was a big hit as was the Jurassic Park playground at Islands of Adventure. We just felt that we traveled too far and spent too much money for….fancy playgrounds.
