Our thrifting/resale queen, Lina, approves!
“The website is very quick and easy to use. You just upload pics, and it’s pretty instant. Honestly, it’s pretty fun! The values it gives seems accurate to me for the pieces I put in. This seems like a very helpful tool to see a quick value, too!”

How does Unvault work?
Getting started is easy, and you don’t have to ship your jewelry to receive an estimate!
- Get a transparent estimate – Take photos of your jewelry and upload them through Unvault. Get an estimate within 60 seconds that shows how it was calculated, without shipping anything!
*Unvault analyzes your photos, visible markings, and other details to generate an estimated retail value using current market data. You’ll receive an estimate with a value range and confident information - Decide whether you want to sell – Like the estimate? You can choose to move forward- all through Unvault! Not ready to part with your jewelry? No problem! Your initial valuation is free, and you’re under no obligation to sell.
- Ship your jewelry securely – If you decide to sell, Unvault provides a prepaid, insured shipping label. You don’t have to pay for shipping upfront.
- Evaluation on video – Professionals authenticate and evaluate your item on camera – and you get the video! (Customers love this part.)
- 5. Review your full breakdown, no hidden fees – You will receive a final offer that shows metal, weight, stones, and the Unvault fee line by line.
- Get paid if you accept – If you’re happy with the final offer, accept it and arrange a payment method. If not, Unvault will return your jewelry at no cost to you!
Note that Unvault does take a 20% fee. Most local options keep up to 50% with other hidden margins, so this is another way to get the best value for your pieces.

What kind of jewelry can you sell?
Unvault focuses on eligible precious-metal jewelry including:
- Gold necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings
- Sterling silver jewelry
- Platinum jewelry
- Eligible diamond and natural gemstone jewelry
- Certain designer and estate jewelry pieces

What’s the catch…
There isn’t one! If you have unwanted jewelry sitting around, Unvault could be an easy first step toward turning those unused pieces into extra cash! You get a free estimate, compare your options, and you get to decide whether selling makes sense to you – with full transparency during every step!
See what your jewelry is worth before you ship, watch it being evaluated on video, and keep more with one clear 20% fee. Sell your jewelry online today!
Just remember that an online valuation is not an estimate and not a guaranteed payout. Your final offer may change after an inspection confirms the item’s weight, metal purity, condition, and other relevant details.

Has anyone tried this? I would love honest feedback as my mom and I have numerous pieces that we are looking to sell etc. Thanks in advance!
Same!
I once had a specific type of antique watch that the app completely missed. That condition makes the valuation process very different for certain items.
Exactly. I tried them for a rare imperial Russian piece and they valued it for scrap price.
For general purpose and contemporary jewelry, their ‘estimates’ seem fair, but again, you still have to send in to them before they tell you what they’ll offer… and it’ll always be a minimum of 20% less than actual metal prices.
Educate yourself on the spot prices of gold and silver before selling. Some places pay much less than others
Came here to say the same. And refineries pay 90-98% of spot prices whereas Unvault gives 80% *or less* from what I’ve read about them.
