Hip2Save team member, Melissa, tested this same blender in the black color to make sure it was worth the cost, and she was a big fan!
This is a powerhouse blender! I made milkshakes so quickly. I love that there is a safety feature that keeps the buttons from working if the lid is open. The blender is quiet compared to regular blenders. It will be so great to try out on soups, smoothies, and dips.– Hip Sidekick, Melissa
Just wondering how this compares with a vitamix? Anyone have experience with both?
Hi there Sturgissaver! I do not have a Vitamix, but I do have a Ninja blender. When I compared both with an ice test, the Ninja blender was much louder. The cover on the Professional Blender made the noise much more quiet. The Professional Blender is now my go-to choice for smoothies, milkshakes, and I even made salsa with it. I hope this helps!
I too am wondering on the quietness. My husband is a PITA and he complains when I make a morning smoothie in my Ninja. He complains so bad, I have to take it to the garage and blend. Vitamix was too loud as well so anyone compare quietness to the other top models? TIA.
Hi Christie! I do not have a Vitamix to compare the sound to; however, I do have a Ninja Blender. I did a sound test with ice in both blenders. By far the Ninja blender was much louder and even startled my kids when I mixed the ice. The cover on the Professional Blender definitely mutes the noise, so the sound is not as harsh. I hope this helps!
how does it compare to blendtec
I bought this after you all advertised/gave a review this summer. It has been a huge hit in our big family of 10. I’ve never had a Vitamix, but it does the job well and the quietness factor was a big selling point for us. My older kids can use it, and it makes smoothies quickly and quietly. Thanks Hip2Save!
That is so great to hear — thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! ❤️
