Can you get Walgreens Register Rewards money back, if you pay with Register Rewards?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Lesley! As long as you’re not redeeming register rewards for the same offer, you should be able earn and redeem in the same transaction, as Walgreens coupon policy states – “Customers redeeming a Register Rewards/Savings Rewards will not receive another Register Rewards/Savings Rewards coupon with the same offer.” Hoping that might be helpful! ❤️

Yes, as long as it is not the same offer and we are talking about the printed in-store rewards. Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be the same exact product to be the same offer. Here it is copied and pasted from Walgreen’s coupon policy:
Customers redeeming a Register Rewards/Savings Rewards will not receive another Register Rewards/Savings Rewards coupon with the same offer.
You can usually figure it out by looking at the ad. Another way look at in-store reward and see who it is from. If it is a P&G offer for example use it on a Unilever or J&J offer.

I’m always hesitant to use printable coupons anymore. The cashier always acts like it’s a fake and it seems like they rarely work when scanned. Anyone else have a recent experience using one at Walgreens?

By any chance at T——-? Last Dec I think T—— started to use a third-party software to create a database of verified printable and newspaper coupons. I don’t think it went that well with many valid coupons being rejected. I couldn’t say how it is going now since I’ve moved and I’m no longer doing much instore shopping there.
My Walgreens is really pretty great with printables from coupons.com and newspaper coupon going through most of the time. If it doesn’t scan I just say never mind. In my experience if it doesn’t scan a manager won’t force it through and I can’t blame them. Walgreens stores can vary a lot so try out a few to find the best for you if the first one you try isn’t coupon friendly.

A major store. I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to name it . I hope you have good luck at Walgreens.
