Walmart has what dorm rooms everywhere are calling for! 🛌

College is expensive, but your dorm room essentials don’t have to be, thanks to all the affordable finds on Walmart.com! My daughter, Saylor, and I went shopping for all her college supplies, and thanks to Walmart we got everything we needed while keeping our budget in check.

Just check out Saylor’s 2023 haul! We got everything from bedding to fans to storage supplies – and even a Keurig coffee maker – all for under $200 shipped! 🙌

Saylor will be returning to school this fall as a college senior (time sure flies!) and has experienced living in a dorm room (during rush week), in a sorority house as pictured above (for her first 2 years of school) and in an off-campus apartment. With all of her different living experiences, Saylor was looking for specific items to fill her college space and we were relieved to find them all on Walmart.com.

One of my favorite things about back-to-college shopping at Walmart is how quickly you can have the items delivered!

Dorm rooms can be hot – Stay cool while you’re studying for all those exams!

No matter where Saylor has lived since starting college, none of her living spaces have ever had air conditioning! 😱 To avoid melting, a table fan was an absolute must when returning to school this year. She scooped up this Better Homes & Garden 3-speed table fan because it’s pink, retro, and super cute! We love it 😍 (and we especially loved that it comes fully assembled right out of box!).

College students need affordable organization products and Walmart has them!

When it comes to student housing, space can be limited! Saylor was set on having stackable bins to store her essentials. We scooped up two large The Home Edit Modular Storage Bins, which are just perfect for all her makeup, hair accessories, and other beauty tools.

Comfortable bedding is a must-have dorm room essential for all college students.

College students spend a lot of time hanging out in their rooms – especially if they live in the dorms. Comfortable bedding is an absolute must!

Saylor wanted this Mainstays Bedrest Pillow to prop herself up while studying or watching TV. It’s so cozy and was a great deal for the price.

New bedding always makes a room feel fresh & special, so this Mainstays 7-Piece Bed in a Bag Comforter Set was a no-brainer. It’s just under $35 and you get SO MUCH for the price: a comforter, flat sheet, fitted sheet, 2 pillow cases, and 2 standard shams. The comforter is also fully reversible with an eye-catching design on one side and a solid print on the other. 🤩

Not only is this bedding stylish, but it was so convenient to not have to buy each piece separately!

College kids study a LOT and that’s why we picked up a desk light next…

This pretty LED desk lamp cost less than $8! It’s so cute and it matches her pink retro fan perfectly. For the price, this stylish lamp is a total WINNER! 🏆 And it comes with an integrated LED bulb that lasts up to 12,000 hours – that’s alot of studying time! Plus, it has a built-in AC outlet so you can easily charge your computer, airpods, tablet etc.

We also scooped up a cute faux plant for a peaceful vibe.

Greenery may not seem like it should make the list of dorm room essentials, but trust us, it’s worth a spot!

Saylor doesn’t exactly have a green thumb 🤣 and keeping plants alive while running to class and the library is tough. So she chose this faux tea leaf plant that also doubles as a cute piece of decor.

Of all the dorm room essentials we scored, she was most excited about her new Keurig.

Daily Starbucks just isn’t affordable on a college student’s budget! To satisfy her cravings and save some dough, Saylor picked out this Keurig K-Iced Coffee Maker. It not only makes hot coffee, but iced coffee, too!

Saylor actually prefers iced coffee, so this was the perfect choice for her. She can enjoy a caffeine fix in the mornings or during those late night study sessions. And it even comes with a tumbler so she can drink her coffee on the way to class, too! ☕️

I’m so excited about my daughter’s college haul…and so is she! 🤩

Walmart.com really is the place to go for dorm shopping. You can get a lot for just a little, and it’s all so stylish, too! We were able to cross off everything on Saylor’s must-have list and then some. And it makes me happy to know she’ll be comfortable in her space.

Everything about college can be so expensive, but at least decking out her dorm didn’t break the budget. I still can’t believe we got all these goodies for under $200! Walmart.com for the win! 🥇🙌
