This was easy to install (I had it up before my husband got home). I also had fun testing the overabundance of ringtones over and over and annoying my kids. You can choose from basic to tunes, classical, etc. It has volume control. It has been outside all fall and winter with no issues. I can hear it from all areas of the house.

I live with and care for my parents who are both in their 90s. Both are still mostly independent and mobile but need help with various tasks and anything that requires strength. In the past my parents used to have to physically come and get me in my part of the house (or yell for me) so to save them the trouble, I bought this “doorbell” and attached the ringer button to the refrigerator in the kitchen. Now when my parents need me, all they have to do is press the button and the bell rings in my room. I have the volume set low so that it isn’t startling or annoying. They were tickled to death with this idea and are grateful they don’t have to walk all through the house to come get me anymore. It has made their lives much easier.
