  I find that a month or two after black Friday they do a special sale, where everything is an extra percent off. The refurbs on vitamix.com are already cheap. …..if you hit that sale, you cam get a refurbished for $250-280 shipped. A costumer service person told me usually they get a bunch of returns that aren’t even used bc either a partner says no or the buyer gets sticker shock and returns it. I’m very happy with mine. It was a very new model refurbished, speed for about $230 or 250.
