Bought an iPhone? Check If You Qualify for This $250M Settlement
If you bought an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16, you could be eligible for a payment from Apple’s $250 Million Class Action Settlement.
The lawsuit claims Apple promoted certain Siri Apple Intelligence features that were not available when the phones were released. While Apple denies any wrongdoing, the company has agreed to settle the lawsuit.
You may qualify if you are a U.S. resident and you purchased an eligible iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model between June 10th, 2024, and March 29th, 2025.
How do I submit my claim?
Submit your claim online by December 21st, 2026, using your personal information and iPhone serial number (find it under Settings > General > About). You can choose PayPal, Venmo, direct deposit, or check for your payment, and you’ll need to submit a separate claim for each eligible device.
Payouts are expected to begin after the final approval hearing on February 24th, 2027.
Eligible claimants may receive $25 per device, with payments potentially increasing up to $95 per device or decreasing depending on the number of valid claims.

How to claim your portion of the settlement
For now, you need to wait.
As set forth in the settlement, Apple will provide a list of eligible customers and their contact information to a settlement administrator.
After the data has been verified, the company Verita will send email and postal notices to those customers directing them to a settlement website. That site has not yet been created. The deadline for filing your claim will be 90 days after your notice arrives.
