Own a Bissell Steam Shot? You May Qualify for FREE Replacement Attachments

In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, a recall has been issued for Bissell Steam Shot OmniReach and Steam Shot Omni Steam Cleaners with attachments. In rare instances, the attachments can unexpectedly detach from the steam cleaner, posing a burn hazard.
This recall involves multiple models, including 4155, 4155L, 4155W, 4155G, 4155D, 4155J, 4155Y, 4155P, 4171, 4171L, 4171W, 4171F, 4171B, 4171C, 4171D, 4171H, 4171J, and 4171X. The number will be listed on a large black bar on the product rating label.
It is advised that you stop using the attachments immediately. These attachments include the accessory nozzle, angle concentrator tool, extension hose, flat scraping tool, window squeegee/fabric steamer, detail brushes/kit, grout brush, and brass bristle detail brush.
How to request a free new attachment kit…
- Gather your affected attachments, place them in the trash, and take a clear photo of the disposed attachments inside the container. Do not dispose of the steam cleaner, water tank cap, or measuring cup, as these pieces are still safe to use.
- Fill out the Recall Request form or contact Bissell directly at (855) 417-7001 from 9 AM to 7 PM ET Monday through Saturday or by email at RecallNA@bissell.com.
- Note that if you have more than one affected product, then you will need to fill out 2 forms.
- You will receive your new attachment kit within 4-5 weeks, and the attachments will be blue and black in color.

Mine are on the way. They are very fast at shipping them out. One of my attachments fell off and slightly burned my hand. I am thankful that they are replacing them.

I had same thing happen to me but didn’t report it. I did request the new accessories.
