Eddie Bauer says goodbye to their physical stores! 

Longtime outdoor retailer Eddie Bauer is reportedly preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and nearly all of its North American stores could be affected.

Here’s what we know so far:

• The company that operates Eddie Bauer’s U.S. and Canada stores is expected to file for bankruptcy
• This could lead to the closure of almost 200 Eddie Bauer locations
• The Eddie Bauer brand itself is not going away
• Authentic Brands Group still owns the brand name and intellectual property
• Online shopping, wholesale, and product sales are expected to continue
