Forever 21 Files for Bankruptcy – Is This the End?
Forever 21 closing stores after filing for bankruptcy – here’s what you need to know.
On February 27th, Forever 21 announced that they were laying off approximately 350 workers and shutting down their LA headquarters.
And on March 16th, Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy and is winding down operations in the US. Retail stores and the Forever 21 website will continue to remain open during this process, with liquidation sales starting soon.
This is the second time that the brand has filed for bankruptcy – back in 2019, Forever 21 faced similar issues due to having to compete with online retailers like Shein and Temu and closed over 300 stores at that time.
