Hydro Flask’s Water Bottle Trade-In Program Pays $5 for Each Recycled Product

Hydro Flask offers a recyclable program that makes it possible for consumers to easily recycle select Hydro Flask products.

Customers in the U.S. can return old, unwanted, and non-functioning Hydro Flask bottles, tumblers, and stainless steel products in exchange for a $5 store credit redeemable on HydroFlask.com.

Hydro Flask’s Trade-In program is the first of its kind to cover stainless steel bottles, tumblers, mugs, food jars, bowls, plates, and accessories.

To recycle a used Hydro Flask product, customers can start by registering it at www.hydroflask.com/trade-in. Then, you’ll receive a shipping label, which can be adhered directly to the item. Then, your bottle is ready to drop into a FedEx box – no additional packaging is required!

Customers are encouraged to keep any caps, lids, boots, or straws that can be reused with their next bottle. If they’re broken or you’re simply done with them, these items can also be sent back with the used Hydro Flask product rather than thrown away.

Once your used product is received, it will be disassembled and sorted to recycle as much of it as possible. In return for each used Hydro Flask product recycled, customers will receive a unique promo code for $5 redeemable on Hydroflask.com.

Hydro Flask has been recycling used or damaged returned products since 2017, keeping over 100,000 pounds of stainless steel and polypropylene out of landfills. This new Trade-In program makes it easier for customers to help the company prevent even more waste from reaching landfills!
