New IHOP Wonka Menu Launching This Month (Includes Purple Pancakes & Strawberry Hot Chocolate)

Celebrate the new Willy Wonka movie with this special menu from IHOP! “You’ll be in a world of pure imagination!”

IHOP is giving you a golden ticket to their table!

The new Wonka movie is hitting theaters on December 15th and IHOP has a special way for you to celebrate the release. The famous restaurant chain has paired up with Warner Brothers to bring patrons an enchanting new Willy Wonka-inspired menu.

The new IHOP Wonka Menu will be available at participating locations for a limited time starting November 27th. We heard the news first from our friend, the popular food blogger, Markie devo, and he spilled all the colorful details!

Here’s what you can expect to see on the IHOP Wonka Menu…

The new menu is full of colorful and rich food options made to delight your sense of wonder. Though there is no gum that is a three-course dinner or rainbow drops that you can spit in seven different colors, there are plenty of imaginative offerings to try!

For your main course…

Bite into a Daydream Berry Biscuit. It’s a flaky buttermilk biscuit that’s been split in the middle and filled with decadent cheesecake mousse and mixed berry topping then covered in purple cream cheese icing and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Or, order the Wonka’s Perfectly Purple Pancakes meal. It includes 2 buttermilk pancakes colored purple, layered with creamy cheesecake mousse, smothered in purple cream cheese icing, and garnished with whipped topping and gold glitter sugar. ✨

Also, try the Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos. This meal includes 3 silver-dollar chocolate pancakes. They have been folded and filled with chocolate chips, fresh sliced strawberries, cheesecake mousse, and chocolate drizzle. A few extra berries are served on the side (in case you want to double-check that “the strawberries taste like strawberries”).

For lunch, snack on the Fantastical Wonka Burger. It’s a mouth-watering mouthful made with Blank Angus beef steakburger. It’s then garnished with a factory full of toppings – lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, four-cheese blend, avocado, 2 strips of bacon, fresh hash browns, IHOP sauce, and ranch drizzle. 😋 It’s served on a brioche bun and you’re allowed a choice of side.

Wash down your meal with one of 2 Wonka-inspired beverages…

Order the Dreamy Lemonade, a fantastical drink that seems straight out of the confectionery. Delight your senses with this prickly pear-flavored lemonade served with a cream cheese icing rim rolled in rainbow sprinkles and topped off with a cloud of cotton candy. 🌈

You can also order a Scrumdiddlyumptious Strawberry Hot Chocolate which is fitting for the winter season. Warm up with this hot cocoa flavored with strawberry syrup and garnished with whipped topping, chocolate sauce, and gold glitter sugar.

Though it is yet to launch, the feedback on the Wonka Menu is a bit mixed...

Some internet commenters are excited, but others seem turned off by the rich offerings and high sugar content. So far, the tacos, lemonade, burger, and biscuit all seem to be generating at least a little excitement.

There’s no word yet on which IHOP locations will be participating. Keep an eye out for the menu to appear at a location near you!
