Starting August 24th, Walmart and Sam’s Club are rolling out Tap to Pay at select locations! Finally, no more frantic search for your card – we can finally use our phones!

After years of relying on Walmart Pay and other traditional payment options, Walmart shoppers will finally be able to tap an eligible card, phone, or smartwatch at checkout. The option is expected to roll out to all U.S. Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs by the end of 2026, with fuel stations following by mid-2027.
