LOVE Barefoot Dreams But Not The Price? These 5 Alternatives Are Affordable (And on Sale!)
These Barefoot Dreams alternatives will give you all the soft without the splurge!
Oh, how we love saving money with these Barefoot Dreams-inspired alternatives!
From plush throws and baby blankets to cozy cardigans and robes, Barefoot Dreams has set the bar for creating some of the softest products and we’ve fallen in love with them over the years… but not their hefty $100-ish price tag! 🤑
Fortunately, we’ve scoured the market for Barefoot Dreams alternatives that are much easier on your wallet and rumored to be just as buttery soft as the competitor brand. And just in time for gifting season too! 🎁 You could buy 3 or 4 of these cheaper alternatives for the price of just ONE Barefoot Dreams!
Here are 5 Barefoot Dreams inspired looks that won’t break the bank:
1. Need an everyday cozy pullover? Save over $127 with this Walmart alternative Collin LOVES!
Dreamers by Debut Womens Plush Hooded Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater
Only $16.10 (regularly $22.98)!
With drawstring ties around the neckline, a hood, and the same ribbed hem detailing, we can’t believe this pullover from Walmart isn’t the real thing, but your wallet will! Would you pay $145 for the CozyChic version?
As the weather shifts to cooler temps, it’s the perfect time to grab one of these teddy-soft sweaters for yourself or grab a few as gifts!
2. You’ll get one more color option when you choose this Barefoot Dreams robe alternative at Target. 🙌🏼
Stars Above Cozy Yarn Robe
Only $26.59 (regularly $37.99)!
This Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Unisex Robe is pretty basic and isn’t much different than the Target version.
The robes are almost identical in length, but the budget-friendly Target robe is a bit shorter than the CozyChic robe. I honestly like the shorter length better! Aside from that, they’re both 100% polyester, have the same side pocket detailing, and even come in the same gray and white colors.
Have your heart set on a longer length?
This Cozy Chenille Robe is Hip Sidekick, Sara–approved and another great lookalike and is longer in length, but this one sells out fast so if you see it in stock, you better grab it quick!
3. Collin’s new favorite cozy cardigan is a MUST for chilly mornings and everyday layering.
Time and Tru Women’s Duster Cardigan
Only $18.98!
Collin can’t stop sharing about this Time and Tru cardigan as it’s SO cloud-soft you’d never know it wasn’t a real Barefoot Dreams! Plus, it’s available in so many fun colors and patterns, and honestly, we love the ribbed detailing on the sleeves and hem even better than the original. Hundreds of readers grabbed this cardigan the first time we posted so it’s already selling out – don’t be the last to grab yours for UNDER $19!🔥

4. Live in warmer temps? Consider grabbing this Barefoot Dreams alternative tank top & shorts set.
Stars Above Cozy Yarn Tank Top
Only $13.29 (regularly $18.99)!
Stars Above Cozy Yarn Shorts
Only $13.29 (regularly $18.99)!
Let’s just say you could gift this Target matching set to FOUR of your besties for the price that you’d pay for just ONE Barefoot Dreams set! 😱 This shorts and tank top set is perfect if you like that ‘snuggled’ feel without being HOT in pants or a long sleeve while you sleep.
5. Before you drop over $140 on a Barefoot Dreams, just know that this blanket from Urban Outfitters has been a team-favorite for YEARS!
Urban Outfitters Stargazer Knit Throw
Only $39 (regularly $49)!
The Stargazer throw is yet another super affordable lookalike for the Barefoot Dream’s CozyChic Throw and resembles the original even more than the Pottery Barn blanket. Our team loves the affordable Urban Outfitters copycat, too!
Each throw is 100% polyester and machine washable, but the CozyChic throw is a bit larger measuring 54″ x 72″, while the blanket from Urban Outfitters, measures 50″ x 60″—not a huge difference and well worth the substantially lower price of $49 vs. $147.
After being gifted a Barefoot Dreams Throw Blanket, I learned that Urban Outfitters makes one that looks very similar and at a fraction of the cost of the popular brand. Whaaat?! Best. News. Ever.
I couldn’t believe how much cheaper the Urban Outfitters blanket was compared to the original version, so I even did some digging and read up on the materials of each one, and I was shocked to learn that they really are almost exactly the same! – Collin
Quality doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
Why spend double or triple the money on name-brand items when you can get the same look and level of quality with a less popular brand? Next time you’re about to make a big brand purchase, check for a highly-rated lookalike that could save you some cash! You might get lucky and find a less expensive version as good as a Barefoot Dreams original!
