Anyone else’s hands always super dry? 🙋‍♀️

If you’re having the same struggle as me, I always love to recommend AHAVA hand cream, a.k.a. the best hand cream, for dried chapped hands! Better yet, it’s currently on sale over on Amazon.com for 30% off!

I’m constantly in the kitchen cooking and washing my hands even more frequently lately, and it’s definitely made for some pretty dry and scaly-looking hands.

AHAVA Dead Sea Mineral Hand Cream $16.80 (regularly $24)

A couple of years ago, I discovered this awesome mineral hand cream in my FabFitFun box and recently started using it regularly again to soothe my dry hands.

AHAVA Dead Sea mineral hand cream smells and feels amazing on my hands!

It makes them super soft and absorbs quickly so it won’t leave your hands feeling greasy or sticky. The scent is light and feminine and smells like heaven.

Most importantly, I feel like my skin is moisturized and I use just a little bit several times a day. Judging from all the positive reviews on Amazon, I know I’m not alone.

Here are a few more reasons to love AHAVA Hand Cream:

  • It contains Dead Sea minerals to hydrate, smooth, and protect hands.
  • It soothes and provides natural moisture, while the allantoin heals dry cracked skin and blemishes.
  • AHAVA is paraben-free, vegan, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive skin.

A little bit of lotion goes a long way!

After washing, I simply add a dime size several times a day, and I personally love the smell and results. I keep one bottle of AHAVA next to my bed to have and also downstairs to use during the day.

AHAVA hand cream makes a really great gift! I actually bought a bottle to treat my mom for Mother’s Day along with some other beauty favorites. She now loves it too!

On a side note, this is not a sponsored post. I’m just sharing a product I truly love!

We also love these face moisturizers!

I first found this cream on a trip to Israel itโ€™s very nice quality and light and airy. Been using it for years

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh thanks for sharing your experience with it!

      • MissJillian

Linaโ€”and othersโ€”what scent is best?? I love a nice pleasant scent with my lotion.

I scored Lavido lotion in my FFF box. What a lotion ! Id buy it again in a heartbeat if it wasnt so expensive. 4.3oz for $19. But i also just found my new forever lotion….Bliss. I feel an immediate difference and the price is on point..6.7oz for $10. Its thick and non greasy and a little goes a long way. I cant recommend either enough but price wise try Bliss. It wont disappoint !!

    • Tracey

I LOVE Bliss lotion too; scored some on clearance at CVS a few months ago which was nice. Love that it is non greasy and the scents are very mild.

      • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

        Thanks for the recommendation!

      • jennifer

When TJ Maxx reopens look for Bliss products marked down in the beauty section

        • kerri

Great suggestion. Thank you. I actually just ordered lotion and face wash last nite but seeing as my tj maxx just opened ill have to peruse that aisle now. Never know what you can find there ๐Ÿ˜‰

Excipial is the best hand lotion I’ve ever used. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, though you can tell it’s there. Only downside is that it vaguely smells like stinkbugs to me, though the scent’s gone by the time it’s absorbed into your hands. Not a dealbreaker for me because it works wonders on hardworking hands.

Thank you very much for your amazing post! I love it! I am inspired and will treat my mom to the hand lotion just like you did! I think this lotion will be a wonderful and thoughtful gift!!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh sheโ€™ll love it! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Anne

Love you thin silver bracelets Lina!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Oh thanks so much! โค๏ธ

  6. Maria

Lina you have such great taste!! This is my fave too ๐Ÿ˜‰ The fragrance is really elegant, and I bought a pump version. A little overwhelming by itself but i mix a bit with frangrance-free and it lasts forever!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh thatโ€™s neat! Thanks so much for stopping by Maria! ๐Ÿ’•

  7. Lia

I also love Ahava hand cream and try to buy it when Ahava has a good deal. I just finished up my Ahava firming cream yesterday, although due to the pandemic I don’t expect to be a bathing suit often this summer!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh interesting. I am thinking about trying some of their other products too so Iโ€™ll have to look for it. ๐Ÿ’•

  8. Cindy

Agree. I got a bottle of AHAVA hand cream as a gift from my mother-in-law and I love it. It is light and really feels like it absorbs into my hands rather than just covering my hands with lotion. I donโ€™t know how much it normally is but Iโ€™ll have to splurge on another one when mine runs out.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh thanks for adding your feedback Cindy!

  9. Carrie

Best lotion for the $ is Hempz Sweet Pineapple and Honey Melon. It smells delish and works great. For $10 for a huge bottle on Amazon, you can’t beat it. If you hate it, you can send it to me haha

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Lol thanks for the suggestion Carrie!

  10. Shay

Been using this stuff for years! Family and friends used to bring it over from Israel before it was widely available in the US. If you go to the Ahava website they have several other scent options and they work just as well.

  11. Lynn Pace

I have been using this for years now. I have the most sensitive skin ever and have never had a problem. I absolutely love it as well. I usually pick it up from the Ahava website. With a little patience you can generally get a BOGO, score free shipping with a minimum purchase and get free samples. I have not price compared with Amazon however

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh wow awesome feedback. ya I checked and amazon was just a tiny bit less and had prime shipping, but thatโ€™s great to keep an eye out for the future! Thanks

  12. Lel

    I find the fragrance overbearing.

  13. Jori

Love this brand, a friend brought it back from Israel for me years ago. I have bought some for myself since then!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for adding your feedback Jori!

  14. chiroalex3

I’ve been an Ahava loyal customer for almost twe years!

Their products, especially this one, are amazing. My hands routinely crack and bleed. This hand cream keeps that from happening.

It is expensive. I watch their site for discounts.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks is for adding your thoughts!

My Minnesota winter hands through many trials and errors have found EOS Shea Better Hand Cream as the best; followed by Palmer’s Shea Butter, then Palmer’s Cocoa Butter; next would be the regular Gold Bond Ultimate. The GB Ultimate overnight smells really nice, but doesn’t do anything more than the body lotion.

  16. Mommaof8 (almost 9)

I stopped using lotion altogether and put coconut oil on all my skin when I get out of the shower. I give it plenty of time to absorb into my skin and my skin is plump and soft. When I first switched to only coconut oil I had to apply it multiple times a day then went to applying it once daily and now I don’t have apply it too often- once every 3-4 days. My skin has never looked or felt better.

  17. Mama6

My dad brought this home for my mom from Israel and she loves it. We all use it now. You can often find it at Ulta now along with TJ MAXX or Marshalls.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks for sharing!

  18. Kimbonj

Oohhhhh AHAVA I received that in one of my monthly Allure boxes and I love everything about it, especially the scent

    • BobbyAnn34

Same, I got the cactus and pink pepper in my Allure, I LOVE it.

      • Kimbonj

Ditto BobbyAnn and itโ€™s a full size one this time ๐Ÿ˜Š

  19. Mona

This is my favorite hand cream and, their foot cream is amazing.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing that, Mona! ๐Ÿ’•

  20. Nancy Crabtree

I love this hand cream! Thank you so much!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome! ๐Ÿฅฐ

  21. MaryKay

Hi Lina ๐Ÿ‘‹ I have terribly dry and itchy skin from Fibromyalgia. Would this cream help sooth and moisturize dry and itchy skin?? Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi MaryKay!! Yes, this is my favorite and it feels very moisturizing and not greasy. I think youโ€™d like it!

  22. sandra-15

Avon Moisture Therapy intensive healing hand cream is a more affordable alternative for dry hands. Its one I always go back to. Iโ€™ve tried Ahava too, but was a little pricey.

  23. Sofia

Trader Joesโ€™ Head to Toe Balm in a round metal container works best on my extremely dry hands, better than Ahava.

  24. Pamela Tennant

After reading the post,my super dry hands got very excited. BONUS, there was an extra $10 in Prime savings. Total $6.80 plus tax.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh wow! Great score! I hope you enjoy the AHAVA Pamela!
