blue capri essential oil and diffuser

Anyone else here obsessed with the scent of Capri Blue volcano candles? Here’s a tip!

I’ve been a huge fan of these heavenly Volcano scented candles for years, as are lots of us here on the Hip2Save.com team! To me, it’s a luxury scent that makes your home smell so inviting and amazing.

It’s a splurge that’s well worth it in my opinion and is a perfect blend of citrus, floral, and woodsy scents that can make any room smell so fresh and relaxing.

But wait–there’s an even more frugal way to enjoy this luxury scent!

Whenever there’s a candle sale, I used to stock up….that is until I discovered the Capri Blue Volcano diffuser oil to use in a diffuser! What?! Instead of purchasing the $34 candle, you can actually purchase the same essential oil scent for $20 and use it in your essential oil diffuser!

Just a few drops of this highly rated oil in a diffuser will make your home smell so inviting, and it’s a more frugal option than buying the candles, as one small 0.5 oz. bottle will last a long time!

Even better, you can pick up the essential oil on sale right now as well!

adding volcano essential oil to diffuser

The burn time is 55 hours on the Volcano jar candles I usually purchase, and my diffuser can stay on for about 6 hours using just about 4-5 drops of essential oil.

This is why I feel like going the essential oil route is less expensive, plus I don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving a burning candle and my diffuser automatically shuts off.

Capri Blue diffuser oil would make such an awesome gift for someone who is a fan of the popular candles! If you are into making homemade candles, this could also be a perfect scent to consider using for crafts like DIY candles, body scrubs, soaps, etc.

I read in the reviews, that putting some of this oil on wool dryer balls makes laundry smell amazing too! Another fun and fresh idea!

It’s also worth mentioning that this Capri Blue volcano scent also comes in a reed diffuser as well for $34 if you prefer using that method.

I love how great my house smells with Volcano diffuser oil!

It’s strong enough to fill my living room and kitchen with an awesome lingering scent, but not like an overly strong perfume. If you’re a fan of the Capri Blue candles, definitely give this a try, as I think you’ll become hooked on the diffuser oil too! It’s an inexpensive way to make your home smell like Anthropologie!

Wait – what? Super excited about this!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I know! If you already know this scent, than you already get how amazing this idea is! ha!

  2. Mandi

Is there anything else that smells similar to this scent – I read it is citrus, floral, and woodsy…anything more specific like a bath and body scent, or another brand of candle that is similar (yankee, etc) or a body spray/perfume that it reminds you of? I usually buy expensive brands like archipelago or voluspa of “pomegranite” scents that may be similar to your description (unfortunately, less expensive “pomegranite” scents seem to vary a lot and usually smell sweet in a bad way (always reminds me of a scented plastic doll toy LOL). Any more details as to the scent would be sooo appreciated! Thank you!!!

It smells heavenly like Anthropologie if you’ve ever been there in-store. Also, Volcano scent dupes are actually pretty popular right now. I know BB&B had sunwashed citrus that was similar but doesn’t seem to be available. There are several people on our team who have discovered this walmart dupe. There are wall plug ins and stuff like that too!

    • Amymae1100

      Fruity pebbles!
But seriously it smells exactly like fruity pebbles to me.

I got a green anthropology Capri blue candle at T.J.Maxx 2 weeks ago! 16.99!

      Capri Volcano

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Oh that’s a neat find!

    • LeeAnne

Great find! What color jar and lid were they?

  4. Angela V.

Thanks for the tip! I love using a diffuser and this is a cost effective way to try out the scent, since there aren’t any Anthropology stores nearby. I was concerned about shipping costs but ended up getting a pop-up for free shipping. Woohoo!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Wow that’s awesome 👏 enjoy!

  5. Nancy

Hobby Lobby has one that smells exactly the same!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Do you know which one?

      • Marissa

I Googled it. Looks like clementine and mango? I’ve never smelled either that one or the blue volcano one. But y’all got me wanting to!

        • Lacey

I have purchased the Clementine mango from Hobby Lobby. I think it’s very similar.

  6. MaaMaaBear

Is there a diffuser that anyone recommends?! I get overwhelmed looking on Amazon…

  7. Darla

I don’t want to buy another type of plug in. Do you think I can just buy the plugin and transfer it to an old plug-in bottle? I use the bath and body work plugins. I’m sure it’s possible?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

So no the Pura ones I’m pretty sure are a certain shape and would only fit in their brand plugin.

    • chesca

Im sure if there is a way for you to actually pour it in. Ive been able ro do that with some but others dont have an openable top 🤷🏼‍♀️

  8. Lori Kelchner

Hi! What diffuser does everyone like?

  9. Gly

Thanks for the hiptip! I love the anthro candles but ur right they are expensive!!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I think you’ll love this option!

  10. michellekubes

Hi! Does anyone know if you can use these essential oils in a Scentsy?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I don’t think it’s recommended to use oil in a wax warmer, but could be wrong. This oil would be best used in a diffuser.

  11. LeeAnne

Lina, what diffuser is in the pictures?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey there! Sorry I missed this. I am not seeing it available online but It was an older one from Amazon similar to this one –> https://amzn.to/3EGvLGw

  12. Rebecca

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I just asked my teammate Angela who tested this tip and she says “Mine came right away and the email one came within an hour. (I received two.)” Hope that helps!

    • MaryAnn
