What woman doesn’t love a great pair of leggings?!

They’re comfortable, easy to wear, and one of our most tried and true go-to pieces of clothing, which is why we’re so excited to share an affordable pair that our whole team has fallen in love with! Legging lovers, unite!

Say hello to these amazing high-waist tummy-control leggings from Amazon:

These power flex, lightweight leggings come in so many different colors — similar to higher-end brands that you probably drool over. Their neutral options are great to go with anything you already have in your wardrobe and their colorful options are muted enough to still keep you looking chic while still making a statement. 🙌

Heads up – this post is not sponsored. If you’ve been following Hip2Save for a while, you probably know we love leggings, and this happens to be one of our team’s favorite pairs!

Not only are they gorgeous, but they’re also designed to LAST! The 90 Degree brand has made it a point to manufacture great leggings that are durable, thick, squat-proof, buttery-soft, and will last for many years of workouts and errands to come! No more embarrassing see-through leggings, ladies! (And no…I’m not speaking from experience…😏).

As a bonus, they even come with a convenient, hidden pocket which is an innovative way to either store your house key or credit cards so no more needing to haul around a purse! 👏

If you remember when we compared other Amazon clothes to Lululemon, these leggings were one of Collin’s favorite go-to finds that started our whole team trend. 😍

To make these even more versatile, the brand even offers a cropped version, so you can be sure to wear your favorite new leggings even during warmer months and all your steamy, hot yoga sessions.

“These leggings are a great inexpensive activewear find! I ordered a pair in the cropped style after Collin had raved about them and they didn’t disappoint. I love that they come in so many colors as well so I can add a pop of color to my collection of mostly black leggings. 😂 I work out in them frequently and they’ve held up great in the wash! I plan to buy a pair of of the ankle-length next.” – Emily

The shorter ladies on our team even prefer to order this style so they get a better fit on the length!

woman wearing leggings with pockets

You can also scoop up their genius, new leggings with deep pockets on the side, perfect for sliding in your smartphone, earbuds, or other small necessities you need when working out. 🙌 Talk about life-changing!

“I have two pairs of these leggings and they’re the first that I ever owned with pockets! Needless to say, all of my other ones without pockets are going bye-bye, I love these so much!” – Erica

“I absolutely LOVE this brand of leggings! They have a lush, buttery feel to them and remind me of the original Lularoe leggings when they first came out. The ones without pockets offer more of a compression, which I really love wearing, too.” – Alana

In summary, here’s a list of all the things we can’t stop obsessing over with these leggings by 90 degrees:

  • Machine washable
  • They don’t chafe
  • Thick and durable material
  • Buttery soft
  • High-rise fit
  • Slimming waistband
  • Great overall compression
  • Hidden key pocket
  • Great for every day or working out
  • 30-day, full-money-back warranty
  • Stylish just like high-end brands

It’s worth noting that while we are in love with these leggings and had no problems with them, there were a few reviewers saying the colors faded after a few washes. Even after 15-20 washes, our team didn’t have this issue, but keep this in mind when shopping!

Plus sizes seem to be unavailable on Amazon, but many readers have found them in-store and online at Marshall’s. If not, an honorable mention is Yogalicious, and their plus sizes are in stock online at TJ Maxx!

Still on the fence? Here’s some feedback from a couple of Hip2Savers:

“I had a c-section in September and wore these all the time. I bought regular length and they came up very high on me and kept everything ‘in.’ Some of this could be my height (5ft even), but they worked great!” – KelsBurnIt

“90 Degree by Reflex! Yesssss! This is what I wear almost daily to workout, I am sized 14 jeans and I wear a large and love them. I prefer high waisted and cropped to hold all my belly in (🤷🏼‍♀️) and make me feel secure and able to move and jump confidently. Seriously the best leggings. You can score great deals on eBay and at Meijer’s (yes the grocery store). They do sales on this brand! Just an FYI.” – Stacy

“I bought two pairs of these a year ago to use after having my fifth baby. I used them in the hospital and have worn them all year. I LOVE them. Great for post baby belly. They are so comfortable. They are thick but not hot and they don’t fade or stretch out.” – NCarroll

Bonus Shopping Tip!

Marshalls clearance rack

These leggings currently retail between $20.15 – $56.99 on Amazon, but you have to keep an eye out next time you visit Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Lina from our team, as well as various Hip2Savers, said that they’ve spotted the exact same pair that Amazon sells for just $13 in-store! SCORE!

    this sucks. no plus sizes..😔

    • Katie E Smith

I was about to comment to ask why there were no pictures in the post of larger women. Now I know. Boo!

    • Brooke

      Ditto

    • Claudia

They have a website, 90degreebyreflex.com and are currently running 25% off for plus sizes.

    • Heather

For those looking for plus size. I did see that tjmaxx online had some plus sizes 16.99. My daughters wear these and LOVE them! They aren’t see thru at all.

    • jen13289

      And cheaper then here!🤩

    • msmack72

Have you tried Kohl’s? They have leggings in plus sizes. Plus, you can accumulate Kohl’s Cash and Kohl’s Rewards. Hope this helps!

  2. Bunny

It’s hard for me to tell looking at the picture but are there seams on the inside and outside of the leg? Sometimes I have problems with chafing if the seam is too rough.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Bunny! The first pair listed have a seam on the inside of the leg. Hope this helps!

  3. Tina9222

There’s a lawsuit going on for Lululemon supposedly it ended up being some kind of a money making Pyramid scheme…

  4. Kendall

    Do they fade?

    • Emily (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Kendall! They do NOT fade, which is wonderful! I chose a royal blue color and have washed them probably 15-20 times after working out in them, and the color has stayed vibrant through each wash. Hope that helps!

      • Emily NYC

I bought them at TJ Maxx- loved them BUT they bled black in my laundry even after several washes and then faded and lost their shape. Not worth it…….

      • stephizkewl

These are seriously the BEST pair of leggings I own. They are perfect to lounge in but also perfect to work out in. I have zero complaints. 5/5 stars for sure!

    • dblD amber

I bought a pair of black and they faded after 5 washes. Luckily amazon gave me my money back. I also felt like they stretched after an long day .

  5. Lisa

Walmart has a pair with zippered pockets on the sides.

    • LisaK

Just a note on something to look out for. I bought bike shorts at Walmart with the zipper on the side from Walmart which might be the same as the leggings you are talking about? I haven’t specifically looked at the longer ones. They were nice, tummy control and pockets on the side for your phone. For the price it was a great buy and I only found one pair! But not equal to the 90 degree in the waistband. The Walmart bike shorts have elastic about 2 inch or so thick in the band. It moves and rolls especially when being washed. For that reason I would not buy another pair with a separate elastic band. But material and quality, I thought were equal to 90 degree.

  6. Clippy

The thing keeping me from buying is that some comments say they pick up all kinds of lint/fur etc. Do you find this to be true?

    • Emily (Hip Sidekick)

In my experience, I haven’t noticed an unusually high amount of lint or fur getting stuck to them, but none of the leggings I own (whether they’re 90 Degree, Old Navy, Gap Fit, or Lululemon) are resistant to dog fur 😆 Nothing that a quick brush off can’t handle! I don’t think they’ve really acquired any lint on them either, as the fabric on mine is a smoother compression fabric rather than a softer cotton fabric.

    • rae

Hi, I have a black pair w o pockets. The fabric turned funny after washing. They are not buttery but collect absurd amounts of pet hair and are itchy in general.

  7. PA

I was so excited to try these. I bought a pair in black and when they arrived they had weird dye streaks going down and across the leg. I figured it was just a random defect, and I loved how they fit so I returned them and ordered another identical pair. The second pair arrived looking fine but had such a strong, unpleasant petroleum (dye?) scent that I couldn’t keep them. Too bad, because they were really cute and comfortable.

  8. jlk7283

I have some I got 2 years ago from TJ Maxx on clearance for $8 and they are my favorite. They have held up so well and wash great. Totally buying more in other colors!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! $8 is an awesome price!

  9. LauraK

The H2Save team reviewed Oelka brand (from Amazon). I have been so so happy with the fit and the fabric. The usually run around $19 per pair. I used to catch the V V Secret for sale at $35 or less but the Oelka have stole my heart! I am 5’3 and wear a Large. I hang to dry. Same pair washed a dozen times and still holding shape super well!

  10. Stacy Younis

  11. Wendy

Which of the 90 degree leggings has the best thigh compression? I do love me the high waist security, but what I absolutely want is some thigh compression. Any recommendations on that?

  12. Erica

I’ve seen these at Ross and thought about buying them

  13. NanaSue

These are showing $24.99 and up. Where are the cheaper ones, or is this the cheaper price?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! These are the cheaper option, compared to the Lululemon leggings.

  14. TwoLittleMonkeys

They sell these exact same leggings and exact same brand pretty consistently at TJMaxx for $12.99-$16.99! Obviously less of a selection and you have to hit it just right to find the colors and size you need, but if you’re a TJMaxx shopper it’s worth checking quickly whenever you’re in there! That’s how I fell in love with this brand!

  15. Hnkemp

C-SECTION FRIENDLY??? I had my first baby three months ago via unplanned cesarean, and often I STILL have moderate scar sensitivity/pain. I’ve had a really hard time finding leggings (or underwear) that fit my new body bc the horizontal waist seam often rests or slides right into my incision. Any thoughts?

    • kelsburnit

I had a csection in September and wore these all the time. I bought regular length and they came up very high on me and kept everything “in.” Some of this could be my height (5ft even), but they worked great!

  16. Salina

Hi Colin and team! Thanks so much for all the reviews on these awesome leggings, I was in the market for a new pair and clicked right on over! Unfortunately, there isn’t a single color or style that is available in a size larger than xl. Really disappointed and would love if, in the future, you promoted brands who participate in inclusivity. Thanks!

  17. Heather

For those looking for plus size. I did see that tjmaxx online had some plus sizes. My daughters wear these and LOVE them! They aren’t see thru at all. They used to do VS anytime sport leggings but they stopped making those and it seems every other pair of leggings is see thru. I was so happy when I found these and they liked them.

  18. KarinB

I buy these for my kids all the time at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Last week I was able to buy myself a pair at TJ Maxx on the clearance rack for $6. I’ve seen a lot of these on the clearance rack lately. I also like Yogalicious brand they are also sold at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! GREAT buy, KarinB! Thanks for letting us know the price point you found!

  19. Mamamia

Are these comparable (or better) than old navy compression workout leggings? I love those and find they do not stretch, fade, or pinch. Thanks!

    • LisaK

I own old navy, Victoria secrets and 90 degree. I love them all equally. Compression is wonderful. Perhaps VS is the best but the material is also heavier in the pair I have – they are my favorite in the winter. I only buy when I see them on sale for $20 or under. They have all held up extremely well with multiple washes. I typically only purchase black. These specific ones I mention I have in black. I haven’t noticed any funky fading? But I honestly don’t know cause I don’t throw them in the wash and dryer and don’t analyze the water. 🤷‍♀️ They all look black to me!

  20. Alison

I love these leggings. I bought a few pairs from T.J.Maxx for $16.99!!!

  21. MH

Totally buy from Marshall’s! They are usually $16.99. Love these leggings! And their other pieces too.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful suggestion!

  22. Naomi

I bought two pairs of high waist ankle length black leggings yesterday at Marshall’s for $13 each! They had tons there, and bunches of them were on sale👍🏻😊

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET find, Naomi! Thanks for the heads up on your score! I’ll have to look for those when I head back into my Marshall’s!

  23. jen13289

How come when I use this Hip2Save link these EXACT leggings are $27.99 When I go directly to the Amazon app they are $24.99???? Any thoughts?!?!?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How odd! Thanks for sharing. Sometimes links and pricing can vary from desktop to mobile. Hope this helps!

    • Trisha

Same! I bought them for 27.99 through H2S link and than when I clicked on them separate they were 24.99. 🙁

  24. Csandst1

Old Navy brand is great and sale prices are near $12

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful tip! Good to know!

  25. Ncarroll

I bought two pairs of these a year ago to use after having my fifth baby. I used them in the hospital and have worn them all year. I LOVE them. Great for post baby belly. They are so comfortable. They are thick but not hot and they don’t fade or stretch out.

  26. nita

Oh yes I have these from TJ maxx or Marshall’s. They’re my go to in cold weather bcus they’re a more heavy duty thicker fabric then regular softer gym leggings. Good leggings.

  27. K

Sam’s club is my go to for awesome leggings, especially because they have side pockets that fit my phone. I teach preschool age 2-3 and I live in my leggings at work, lol

  28. Becca

I love Yogalicious. They are similar. Available at Amazon and TJ Maxx fot about $16.

  29. Rach

Found a 2-pack of these at Marshalls for $24.99! Love the fit and they wash nicely.

  30. Patty

I would love to find some leggings in tall size. Any ideas?

    • Amy

Eddie Bauer has tall leggings (I’m 5’11)

      • Patty

Thanks! I will check them out

    • LisaK

Old Navy compression leggings come in tall! You will love them. I own a pair as well. My daughter is 5’9” and they are similar to 90 degrees. She will wear both but the 90 degrees end up being more of a crop on her.

      • Patty

Thanks! I will check them out. Do you have to order them online or are they In store?

  31. LTMama

Sorry, HUGE H2S fan, but I cannot believe a Lulu Ambassador would find these comparable. Def not to the Aligns that you’ve pictured, Aligns have a naked, buttery soft feeling, V-tapered back, and train-track seams to prevent ‘camel toe’. Honestly, these are not comparable to ANY lulu leggings.

  32. jaimiv

No plus size ANYWHERE. I’ve checked all the websites mentioned.

  33. smoresto

Am I the only one that does not like leggings with short tops. Who wants to see other women’s butts? It leaves nothing to the imagination. I’m a square I know.

    • Ashley

      Depends on the butt 😊

  34. Jill

I bought a pair from Ross for 7.99!! I love love them so now I need another pair.
