Top Costco prepared meals to add to your shopping list in 2025:

1. Fried Chicken & Waffles kit is the ultimate taste bud takeover.

Fried Chicken & Waffles w/ Syrup + Hot Honey Kit – $17.13 ($6.99/lb.)

Includes 4 waffles + 4 seasoned boneless thighs

Wow, this was way better than expected. What a tasty, easy meal to heat up on a busy night. The chicken was seriously impressive and crispy. I chose the air fryer to reheat, and it worked great. The hot honey is perfection with the waffle and maple syrup. My family ate the whole thing right up!

2. The Beef & Lamb Gyro Kit pulled off the impossible: fed four and impressed two teens.

Beef and Lamb Gyro Kit– $19.86 ($6.49/lb)

Includes 6 soft pitas, tzatziki sauce, chopped onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and feta cheese

This kit tastes fantastic and comes with everything you’ll need to make six generous-sized gyros! You must heat up the pre-cooked lamb and beef mixture in a skillet and compile a gyro with all the provided toppings. You’ll notice immediately that it includes a large portion of meat for around $20! We were super impressed with this delicious gyro kit and have since purchased it again a couple more times.

3. This taco kit nailed it: bold seasoning, no shortage of food, and zero leftovers.

Grilled Chicken Street Taco Kit – $15.48 ($5.49/lb)

Includes 12 tortillas, seasoned grilled chicken, shredded cheese, cabbage, lime wedges, salsa, and cilantro lime cream.

To prepare, I simply warm up the chicken in a pan on the stove and heat the tortillas on my griddle.

I love that these street tacos are easy to fix with pre-portioned ingredients. The tender chicken pieces are seasoned yet not too spicy for kids. I feel like it’s a generous amount of food that feeds four and is definitely a winner!

4. Zero fuss, all comfort – this pot pie makes feeding the fam feel easy-breezy.

Chicken Pot Pie with Rotisserie Chicken – $26.40 ($4.99/lb)

This creamy pot pie can feed an army and yet tastes gourmet and grown-up at the same time. It has tender roasted chicken with lots of flavorful, fresh veggies and a perfectly browned crust that is to die for! You can tell this pot pie has the quality ingredients Costco is known for, and the leftovers taste just as great when warmed up the next day.

5. These chicken enchiladas are a flavor-packed, no-brainer for busy nights.

Enchilada Bake with Rotisserie Chicken – $23.60 ($5.99/lb)

Features corn tortillas, red sauce, onion, corn, bell peppers, beans, lots of cheese, and pieces of Costco’s famous rotisserie chicken.

Here’s how to get the taste of yummy homemade red enchiladas without all the work involved! We first spotted this as a newer option about a year or so ago, and we’ve really enjoyed it a few times so far.

This dish gets nice and bubbly and warm in the oven, and I love that there are no dishes to wash afterward! This is a great lazy meal when you don’t want to cook. It is on the spicy side, which we love, but it definitely has a little bite to it. If you don’t enjoy spicy food or can’t eat it, maybe skip this option, but man, we think it’s YUMMY!

6. My entire family looks forward to this lasagna, and it changed my opinion on frozen foods.

Kirkland Signature Meat Frozen Lasagna 2-Pack – $19.99 ($9.99 each)

Okay, hear me out on this one. I am normally NOT a frozen meal fan, but there is something special about this lasagna! It has the perfect amount of meat, gooey cheese, and amazing flavor. I have tried lots of frozen lasagna in various grocery stores, including Trader Joe’s. This Costco one wins!!!

My kids go crazy for this yummy meal, and it’s so incredibly convenient to keep these in our deep freezer for a last-minute dinner! Paired with a simple salad, it’s a surprisingly delicious feast. It takes a little over an hour to bake in the oven and comes out bubbly and delicious. Find it in the freezer section!

7.  Meet the Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ that will curb your takeout food cravings.

Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ – $22.58 ($6.99/lb)

Many of our readers have commented about how yummy the marinated Bulgogi beef is at Costco, and all I have to say is they are not wrong! It doesn’t look like much in the container, but a quick pan-fry transforms it into something seriously delicious. The sauce leans sweet, the beef is tender, and it gives off total Asian takeout vibes. My husband and I added hot sauce, the kids liked it as-is, and paired with rice and veggies, it made for a super easy, comforting dinner we’ll absolutely buy again. 🤩

8. Short on time? These Stuffed Peppers are a one-dish hit!

Stuffed Peppers with Ground Beef and Rice – $19.38 ($5.49/lb)

Stuffed peppers happen to be one of my favorite homemade meals, but they can be a bit labor-intensive to make from scratch. Picking up a pan of prepared bell peppers with ground beef, rice, and cheese couldn’t be easier. The result is a cheesy, hearty meal the family loves.

These Kirkland Signature Costco premade meals no longer come in their own oven-safe pan, so you’ll have to use one of your casserole dishes, but now you can fib and say you made them yourself! 😂

9. Want leftovers for lunch the next day? Go with the beefy and delicious Beef Ravioli Lasagna.

Beef Ravioli Lasagna – $17.37 ($4.99/ lb.)

Oh mannnnn these Costco premade meals are so GOOD! 🤩 My family loves a tasty lasagna, and this one hits every level! It has lots of cheese and a great-tasting sauce! It’s also really hearty with lots of ground beef. It goes right from the fridge to the oven and is baked and bubbling with melted cheese in 60 minutes!

The best part? There are no dishes to clean after making one of these Costco premade meals. I will one hundred percent be buying again. It is a large serving, too. My husband took some leftovers to work today and says it was great. Costco for the win!

10. The Birria Tacos are super yum, but you may need to dress up the rice.

Birria Tacos Kit – $24.99 ($6.49/lb)

plated birria tacos being picked up and dipped into sauce next to a sheet pan with more tacos

These tacos were surprisingly tasty – easy to warm up and came out crunchy and cheesy. The consumption was the best part! You dip the tacos in it for a delicious spicy kick, which we loved. While it’s not maybe the most authentic, they were a yummy, easy meal.

Pro tip: The rice was the downside, as it was too dry. I managed to save it by adding broth, then warming it up. This helped soften and steam it! We would buy it again. Nice change of pace from the other chicken taco kit.

And don’t forget dessert!

Carrot Cake 2.5lb. – $18.99

Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with 2.5lbs of delicious carrot cake with amazing cream cheese frosting. The cake is easy to slice and has a great spiced flavor. I love the layers of frosting inside, too.

This is an all-around great dessert for a crowd that has a high-end bakery taste and texture. My family loved it, and I may have had a slice with coffee for breakfast  :ok_hand:

BONUS! Wondering what’s the best single-serve meal?

ramen noodle bowl

Tokyo-Style Ramen with Chicken 6-Pack – $14.49 ($2.41 each)

Bonus rec! Don’t sleep on these frozen ramen bowls from Costco! They’re cozy, quick, and perfect for solo meals. My kids love them for easy lunches, and I add a little sriracha for an extra kick. They’re waaaaaay better than the old-school ramen packs — with chicken, veggies, and those soft, slurpable noodles. 🍜🔥

Costco premade meals for the win!

When cooking feels like too much, these go-to Costco dinners save the day. They’re tasty, convenient, and often cheaper (and cozier) than takeout.

As a longtime Costco fan, I’m always impressed by their quality — and these picks go way beyond the beloved rotisserie chicken. Perfect for last-minute meals you’ll actually look forward to. Enjoy!

The Enchilada Bake with Rotisserie Chicken was a bit spicy for my taste. My kids also do not like spicy foods. Definitely get an alternative.
