Candy Corn Pretzel Hugs Recipe – Only THREE Ingredients

Candy Corn Pretzel Hugs

Ingredients

  • Candy Corn
  • Pretzel Squares
  • Hershey's Hugs Chocolates (or substitute with regular Hershey's Kisses)

Directions

1

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

2

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Unwrap Hug chocolates and place on top of pretzels.

3

There are about 80 Hugs in a 12 ounce bag so I used 80 candy corn pieces and 80 pretzels.

4

Bake at 300 degrees for about 4-5 minutes until the chocolate becomes soft. Remove from oven and quickly place candy corn on top of the chocolates.

5

Press down carefully. Serve when cool and the chocolate is firm.

6

Consider putting the tray in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.

I love the crunchy texture with the soft candy!

I am actually not a huge candy corn fan but I really love that the saltiness of the pretzels balances out the sweetness of the chocolate and candy corns. And be warned – these are super addicting!

I’ve been making a variation of this at Christmas-time for years. I use regular Hershey’s kisses with red & green M&M’s. I’ve also done the Rolo/pecan version…everyone loves them, and they are SOOOOOOOOO easy!!

Oh I love that idea- I’m gonna try it for Christmas. Thanks Faith!

If I can’t find the unwrapped Hershey’s Kisses (which take forever to unwrap), I just use the Hershey’s drops instead. Easy-peasy.

I’ve also learned (the hard way) that if you leave them in the oven just a little too long, the chocolate hardens up and makes pressing the candies into it very difficult.

The halloween m&ms would be so cute on top of these.

I have three words for you all… Holiday. Mint. M&Ms. =) So good as the topper to the pretzel & hug.

      Oh yum! Great idea ❤️

    • Di

      What kind of mint?

My family has 2 members allergic to chocolate, so I plan to substitute a big marshmallow. I think it would work well.

  6. BRave

My kiddos love helping make these! Super simple, and you can make them for every season! We love the seasonal M&Ms on top of these! Very easy and very addicting to eat!

      Thanks for sharing, BRave!

  7. Shirley

how far in advance can you make these pretzel treats?

    • Lina

I haven’t made these in a bit but I bet a day or two ahead would be great! Thanks for the question!
