Anyone do this? Wondering if its worth it??

    • Christina

I love my Allure boxes! It’s mostly skincare with few makeup items, just fyi. You can also subscribe through Amazon 🙂

      • Mitzi

I love my Allure boxes as well. I have found some really cool products and I feel the value is very good. It is a little surprise for me each month.

        • Christina

Dang, where have I been? Allure is $23/month? What?! I think I bought 1 beauty box this year and I regret nothing. It adds up so quickly and I have quite a backlog to get through. Allure did get me last December with the hot tools blow out styler- still my favorite beauty box gift EVER, I use it a lot and it makes me smile when I think that it was totally free😊

          • Jenny

I loved that deal too! Wonder if they’ll ever have that nice of a freebie again!

    • JenB

Sometimes! If you decide to do the month-to-month, you can do a Google search for each upcoming month and see what the next box will have. It’s easier to cancel the subscription through Amazon than through Allure. Then start the subscription back up when you like what the box will have. If you do the yearly plan you get a discount and a bonus box but have less control over it.

    • Jeanine Valverde

It’s completely worth it. I’ve been getting the Allure box for about a year and it’s the best.

  2. Dana

    Thank you!

  3. Elsa3

I have a subscription and love it! Way better than Sephora play was. As mentioned it’s mostly skincare and that’s why it works best for me.

  4. Dezi

I used to have a subscription, but cancelled when they jumped from $15 to $25. They just made this change and the first “better” box was very underwhelming.

    • Christine

Same. Underwhelming at best. I tried pause by calling and they said it was done but I received it the next month. I called to get a refund for the box I should not have gotten and they flat out refused. Terrible customer service, I canceled after that.

  5. vikky

Better boxes are not that better at all….I think they were the best once they came out while ago…but still that is still my favorite beauty box. Love all the moisturizers, serums they put in that box…

  6. Jenny

Will they ever do an amazing one like they did last December or January where it was $10 plus a free hot tools hair styling brush. I’m still in awe😍

  7. Sarah

If anyone is wondering check the /BeautyBoxes subreddit on Reddit. People post deals, spoilers, and opinions which might help if you should subscribe or not.

  8. AF

Is anybody know which one is better, ipsy or Allure box? now I have been subscribing ipsy but I’m wondering which is better deal.

    • Carrie M.

The answer is… it depends. Allure has more high end moisturizers, serums, hair products and some makeup, while Ipsy has mostly mid tier makeup and a face mask. I get Allure, my daughter gets Ipsy. The nice thing with Allure is that you can see what is coming in the next month’s box and contact Allure to skip the month if there’s nothing you’ll like. I have been pleasantly surprised with the new box. I can’t use some of the December items due to sensitive skin, but one of my favorites made it more than worth it.

      • AF

Thank you, Carrie M. for your advise 🙂

    • kristaedge

Allure is by far my favorite beauty box. Much better than Ipsy plus I don’t have 8 million little make up bags laying around. The products in Allure are higher end and fuller size.

      • AF

Kristaedge, I agree with you. I don’t need bags every month. Thank you for your advice.

      • Jeri

donate the bags to the high school, they love them!

  9. Sam

Is this deal over or is there a code that needs to be used? I’m not seeing the $11.50 price at checkout.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for asking, Sam! Checking on this now!

  10. sarah v

The upgraded boxes are not worth the extra $10. One of the “full size” is always some sort of eyebrows pencil or eyeliner. The upgraded box is actually more underwhelming than the boxes we were getting for $15.

  11. tessa-1

Not impressed. Boxycharm is ALL full size products. Love it.

    • Jennifer

I agree. When the boxes were $15 they were better boxes and cheaper. I had paid for a year before they raised prices. I tried to cancel they wouldn’t let me. For the difference of $2 Boxycharm is way better.

  12. greenapple

I have 3 free introductory Glam Bag invitations to give out from IPSY if you’ve been wanting to try it! I like it because I can preference the types of items I would like to get. And the price point.

    • kerRI

Id love to try an Ipsy bag. Thank you !!

    • Mary

I would love to try it as well if you still have one. Thanks!

    • Michelle

I would love to try Ipsy if still available and thank you much

  13. alma

Used to I had them but after they increased the price I cancelled it. Now I have ipsy for around $13.

  14. Shelby G

I ordered this about a week ago, but there was only the moon glow kit as the gift for signing up. Anyone know if i will probably get the second gift too? Or no

  15. Lauren

I locked in last year’s price because I subscribed for the year. While I don’t think the newer boxes are that much better with the price increase, I still love the products I get. Such a great mix of skincare, haircare and makeup. I almost always find at least one new product that I love. Anything I don’t need or want to try, I sell on Mercari and it usually pays for the box. That said, I likely won’t renew next year unless they offer a big discount again because I’m swimming in products to try!

    IPSY Invites sent!

  17. NikkiLLM5

I loved it but I was paying $16 and some change and without so much as an email they just started charging me $26.91 after having it at least a couple of years. It’s just the principal of the matter that made me mad. They should have notified me instead of just drafting a larger amount out of my checking. So I canceled. I hope no one else has this issue over time.
