    Shop Local🙂

    • Kathleen

      Agree 100%!!!

      • lexiloowho

Yeah plus there isn’t a huge market in our area for locally made disposable baby diapers, food and formula. 😂

    • CG

You can do both. No need to start drama on this post.

“Shop local” is good in concept but I think it’s an overly simplistic response.
There are a lot of brands/products available on Amazon that aren’t available to me locally. I’m also at a stage in my life that I don’t have extra time to run around store-to-store trying to collect all the things my family regularly uses. And, while I can visit a locally owned restaurant or buy produce at a farmer’s market, I can’t think of a single full service grocery, hardware or home goods store in my area that isn’t part of a big corporation. Lastly, there are a number of small businesses that are using the Amazon platform to grow and a variety of innovative products that aren’t well known enough to warrant shelf space at a brick and mortar store yet.

I should definately be able to purchase my ebooks, digital downloads, streaming games and emusic locally.

Most of amazon products are sold by small businesses. If amazon wasn’t a thing they would have no business.

    • SavingsMama

And those businesses pay Amazon for that platform too. You can support them more by finding a product and then ordering directly from the company there on out. Amazon is just the middle man here.

Don’t forget to use the Fetch app. It now works with Amazon receipts. Use code WD5DH for an extra 2000 points.

      Great to know! Thanks!!

I have a family acct and do not receive 20% S&S –says max at 15% for whatever reason

    • Em

      Mine too! 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • Dana Miller

Same here! I guess I had already registered! I have had so many problems with Amazon lately, that I am looking for an alternative anyways!

    • APS

      Same for me.

I honestly find better deals at discount stores like TJ Maxx. Example, a $3 dog leash at TJM with hand grip and reflective thread costs $11 on Amazon. A Lego set at Ollie’s cost $9.99, same set was on Amazon $14. Earmuffs at Walmart $3, same style $12 on Amazon. If you need the convenience because you live in a rural part of town, sure. If you have stores within a 15 min radius you can probably just go in and score better deals. Just a personal view.
