On April 23rd, Amazon announced the launch of a new unlimited monthly grocery delivery service for orders over $35 from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and other local grocery and specialty retailers.

This new grocery delivery service is available in over 3,500 cities nationwide and costs $9.99 monthly for Amazon Prime Members.

To provide low-income customers with affordable access to groceries and essentials, Amazon is offering this service for just $4.99 to those with a registered EBT account—with or without a Prime Membership.

Amazon is offering a FREE 30-Day Trial so you can try their service out to see if it’s a good fit. *Note that you will be charged $9.99 (or $4.99 if EBT eligible) per month after your free 30-day trial ends unless you cancel.

In addition to free, unlimited deliveries on orders over $35, subscribers will receive access to one-hour delivery windows at no extra cost and unlimited 30-minute pick-up orders of any size for Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh (where available). They will also receive priority access to recurring reservations for weekly grocery orders.

Subscribers will also get unlimited deliveries on orders over $35 from select local grocery and specialty retailers like Cardenas Markets, Save Mart, Bartell Drugs, Rite Aid, Pet Food Express, Mission Wine & Spirits, and more where available.

You can still order Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market deliveries through Amazon without the unlimited monthly grocery delivery subscription. Currently, Amazon charges a $6.95 delivery fee for orders under $50 or a $9.95 delivery fee for orders $50-$100.

Since Amazon’s new unlimited monthly grocery delivery is $9.99 per month, it could offer significant savings If you get deliveries from Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods more than once a month.
