How gorgeous is this tabletop firebowl?! If you don’t have room for a larger fire pit in your backyard, this is a great option that won’t take up too much space. With a heat output of 40,000 BTU’s, this fire pit will definitely keep you warm.
The built-in control lets you adjust the flame to your liking and there’s even a handy umbrella hole gas insert on the bottom to make mounting it on your table easy.
“This fire bowl was a great purchase! Easy to install, simple to operate and it’s a beautiful addition to our backyard! We already had a beautiful stone patio table but I longed for a fire feature. This was a great way to use what we already had and make it better! I highly recommend this purchase to anyone wanting to upgrade their current setup..” – Lowe’s reviewer
2. The Stone Threshold Chisholm Fire Pit Column is chic and space-saving.
- Buy it at Target | $119

Weighing in at just 28 lbs., this fire column is easy to move and it comes ready for use with no assembly required. It also has an adjustable knob so you can easily control the heat output.
“I love this little fire stand. Its size is perfect for our small backyard, and it’s nice and portable. We can move it around depending on what we’re doing in the backyard. It’s a great add on to having a larger fire pit. So easy to use and set up. Great quality item.” – Target reviewer
3. The aged copper on this DeckMate Steel Fire Bowl will give your patio a rustic feel.
- Buy it on Amazon | $82.93
The distressed look of this wood burning fire pit bowl is sure to make your backyard stand out. The handles on the sides make it easy to move and the size is just right for gatherings outside.
It also comes with a fire poker as well as a spark screen to keep embers from flying around. If you’re searching for something that’s a little different, this design is sure to impress!
“From spring until the end of fall I typically have a fire about once a week, sometimes only for an hour or so but usually for several hours at a time (sometimes all day). So far this has held up great and is exactly what I was looking for. I do not have a cover for it yet so I’m sure it will rust up some over time (I don’t use the screen but those absolutely will rust after the first use from the heat).
One of my favorite features (yes it has a feature!) is the vented openings on the bottom. I didn’t know it had these prior to purchasing it but it helps with airflow and makes starting the fire much easier and keeping a nice flame, as long as the ash is cleaned up before each use. Overall this was a great buy and I wish I would have found it earlier in the year.” – Amazon reviewer
4. The Ashland Concrete Fire Pit Kit is an easy and customizable DIY project.
- Buy it at Lowe’s | $219
Love the stone look? This affordable fire pit kit may require more assembly time than others, but it’s well worth the finished product! If you want your pit to be taller, you can customize the height by adding another layer of stones.
Compared to other stone options, $219 is quite a steal for the size of this one and it’s perfect for big and small backyards alike.
5. The smart design of the Yaheetech Outdoor Fire Pit is perfect for summer barbecues.
- Buy it on Amazon | $129.99
You really can’t beat the price of this square metal fire pit. Most styles like this one are far more expensive. The smart design also doubles as a BBQ for grilling and an ice bucket to keep beverages ice cold.
With a 32 inch diameter, this larger fire pit is great for entertaining guests. It comes with a wood grate, poker, and mesh lid as well as a waterproof cover. No additional accessories needed!
“This is perfect for our medium-sized backyard! It holds about 3-4 small pieces of wood at a time which will burn and keep the fire going for anywhere from 2-3 hours! We sit a family of 5 around it no problem, not cramped and is great for making smores! We leave it out with the cover over the entire thing in rain and wind storms all the time and it keeps it protected and safe and in great shape!! I am very happy with this buy!!!!” – Amazon reviewer

The Bonnlo Pit and Deckmate from Amazon are both out of stock, with some options for “buy from other sellers” which isn’t as cheap. Bummer.
Agreed. I’ve been looking for a couple of months and clicked on that one right away. Well, darn it.
Bummer! Thanks for letting us know!
Any tips for fuel? I got some table fire bowls a few weeks ago. I used up the $20 bottle of biofuel in 2 uses so I haven’t used them again since. 😭
Depending on your bowl, you may be able to get a converter/adaptor hose to connect a 20 lb propane grill tank. You can get it a Lowes or Home Depot but be sure to check your fire bowl to see where the regulator is so you get the right hose. They sell both with and without the regulator.
We love our fire pit. I never got one for years and now I wished I had. I got it from Lowes for about $70.00. I don’t remember which one it was, but its similar to #3. Over the 4th of July we roasted smor’es. My kids loved it. I have to say we did up our smor’e game with chocolate chip cookies and reesed peanut butter cups instead of gram crackers. I got the idea from a previous posting Hip2Save posted about “Uping your smor’e game.” Thank you.
We built a huge square firepit with cinder blocks, concrete end caps and lava rocks. $50, looks great like stone, big enough and super inexpensive.
