Such a clever idea. I am always amazed at the unique things people think of. My daughter is in college now but she would have loved this when she was younger. Thank you for always sharing such unique ideas Hip2save!!!

I bought a few as Christmas gifts for my best friend’s kids and they were well received. I’m going to check out what is currently available! Thanks.

My son wants to be a chef & baker when he gets older. He’s currently 13. Does anyone know of any similar boxes for older children?

Have you considered one of the boxes like Home Chef for him? They’re not too difficult and might be better suited for him.

In my area the local community college offers special summer classes for children. Also go to your local public library and browse both the children and adult section in the 641.5 cooking section. There are many simple recipe books out there. Plan out your menu, shop and cook together. At 13 if you plan it right your days in the kitchen are over!

My 16 year old as well! We do Sunbasket and we love it. The first box was less than $50 for 3 meals for 2 adults. Plentiful portions, organic, sustainable, lots of choices. You can even order for 4 adults of as little as 2 meal choices. He loves picking the meals, the instructions are easy to follow and everything we have tried has been fantastic. https://sunbasket.com/invite/Sarah4146330?utm_medium=useremail&utm_campaign=referafriend

I’m having a hard time finding how to cancel my subscription. Do you know how that’s done? Thank you

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

On the site, it shows this, “The way to cancel your subscription is by logging into your Baketivity account. You’ll notice an option where you can toggle between “auto-renewal” and “manual renewal” – the same is true when you want to change it back to auto-renewal – just toggle to that side.”
