I’ve been patiently waiting for this sale. I plan to buy LOTS of handsoaps because they make cute little gifts for any occasion and stock up on some aromatherapy body butter for myself 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I like their hand soaps for gifting too, Katie! Thanks for sharing!

    • alexisrobinson-davis

I wonder what happened to the body oil?? They used to sell it and I loved it but I can’t find it anywhere now.

      • K

Hi there, they actually discontinued the body oils because it didn’t meet specific standards.

      • Angela V.

Me too! I love the cocoshea coconut body oil.

  2. StacieB315

How do I get a coupon for the sale??

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! If you are signed up for emails, you may receive offers in your inbox. Also, be on the lookout for mailer offers as they do send those out occasionally. Hope this helps!

  3. Joni

Has anyone gotten any coupons for b&bw recently? I haven’t! I hope they start sending them out soon.

    • Jill S Ladd

I don’t think I’ve gotten anything since before covid….. (maybe January was the last time). I hope we start getting mail soon !

      • Jody

I had to call Bath and Body Works a few weeks ago regarding a order I had placed. The lady I spoke to was so sweet and helpful. I asked her about the coupons and she said they have significantly cut back and they had planned on doing so before the pandemic. She said to expect them in the mail only twice a year.😕

        • MommySpendsLess

Oh no! That’s a bummer but thank you for the explanation. We’ve just about used up the hand soap I bought in Feb/March so I’ve been on the lookout for a coupon. I love their soaps but they’ll be harder to justify if I can’t combine a sale with a coupon to get them down to $3ish.

          • Cherryluva

I agree, I will forgo the handsoaps as well if I have to pay full price. As much money as I and other people have commented, spend here, its really a shame about the coupons. Every single time I’ve gone to the store at the mall its ALWAYS packed , so not understanding why they want to cut back on coups.

            • Erin

You answered your own question: BBW is always packed, so there’s no need to offer coupons. If people stop shopping there, they’ll likely ramp them back up. I can’t figure out why they’re closing stores, though. Candles and soaps are cheap to produce and goodness knows they sure mark them up, though I doubt many people pay full price with all the “sales.” Still, people tend to buy in multiples there.

              • Deb

The coupons have backfired. People complain if they don’t get one to save money…so now they raised all the prices again…so they can give out a coupon.

          • Patty

I refill the foaming handsoap bottles myself for pennies. Use about a quarter bottle liquid handsoap (I use clear so I can color the way I want). One drop of food coloring. Then several drops of essential oil. (My fav is very affordable from Walmart Lemongrass oil). $5. Lasts a long time. Every time I wash my hands I love the strong clean lemon scent. And I read lemongrass oil has antibiotic properties. Then add water and stir. If you shake it makes too many bubbles.

    • CaseyB

I got some yesterday. One was for a free item up to $7.50 and the other was for 20% off.

      • Amy

Gives me hope since I haven’t received any coupons from them since this pandemic started 🙁

  4. Jackie

Mine is not even open. They will start curb side pick ups today.

    • riss

As far as i know, stores are still mostly closed in our area (Bay Area). Heck, they even boarded up the mall because of the protest and possibly riot/looting. But it was just a protest, no violence at all. 👏👏👏

  5. Ms

Does anyone know how much does retired BBW body lotion normally cost during semi annual sale? Thanks.

    • Rachael

I’ve gotten Country Apple items for as low as $2. Hope that helps!

  6. Mollie

They should allow us to use expired coupons because the stores have been closed.

    • Bornonthe4thofJuly

My store (SC) allowed me to use the pink coupons with an expiration date of April 5, 2020 on last Saturday. It was for 20% off and a free full size body care item. BBW is very accommodating to its customers.

      • Sandy:)

Thanks for posting this! I have the same coupon and was thinking about tossing it since it expired a while ago. I’ll hold on to it and hope that I get lucky like you did and they still honor it.

    • Ann

Any paper coupons that expired April 2-5 will be accepted through June 30.

  7. Melissa

App won’t let me sign up for rewards, saying it’s not available in my area. 😕 Odd

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Melissa! The app rewards are only available for select locations. Hoping it is available in your area soon!

  8. jcon510

Usually I would get a couple 20% off coupons when I received an order. Nothing in my order today. And a friend said none in his either. Bums me out, I usually won’t place an order unless I have a coupon.

  9. Laura

Are they still having the sale this year? Victoria’s Secret owns them and has pushed off their sale indefinitely due to the pandemic.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! However, no official date has been announced yet.

    • acgold

Laura- I just got an e-mail that the Victoria’s Secret sale will be “very soon”. All the stores have so much excess inventory they did not get rid of due to the closures, and more stock came in during the same time.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks so much for the helpful comment!

    • Jan

B&BW will only have the Semi-Annual Sale at stores this year and not online. It is already underway at some stores. Online will be having some sales-it just won’t be SAS as in the past.

      • Abbi

Was this confirmed by BBW? What about states that the stores still have not opened due to stay at home orders?

    • Monique

Went to a VS store here in Vegas and a lot of stuff is marked down half off so might be worth checking out if you’re in a position to want to venture out 🙂

  10. kieara

Hoping that with this sale and the backed up orders we don’t wait too long. Definitely stocking up on soap and other essentials!

  11. Marie

I’m on Bath & Body overload, plus I bought a ton of nice candles at Kohls recently. If I get any email coupons I’ll definitely pass them on.

  12. Amy knightley

do we know the date on the sale? I am hoping to get some candles on sale…boy to I miss those.

  13. Joan

How much are their body mists during the semi-annual sale?
