Whether you’ve never shopped the sale before or you’re a pro, these tips and tricks are everything you need to know to score all the best deals and save the most money during the next Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale!

1. Mark your calendar for January & June.

Bath & Body Works sale

The semi-annual sale usually happens in January and June every year!

2. Save more than 75% by stacking coupons during the sale.

During the Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale, you can stack coupons on top of their already amazing sales!

Hip Tip: Miss your coupon dates for the semi-annual sale? No worries! Bath & Body Works offers a grace period and will still honor your coupon 3 days before the start date or 3 days after the expiration date.

3. Plan to shop in-store to save an additional $6 or more.

Bath & Body Works

By shopping in the store (as opposed to online), you’ll save even more of your cash! Here’s why:

    • In-store shopping saves you at least $5.99 in online shipping costs.
    • When shopping online, you’re only able to use one coupon code, while in-store, you can stack your valuable coupons and freebies (remember, you can stack any mailer coupons that come attached!)

4. Score up to $16 in freebies with the app (select locations only)

If you download the Bath & Body Works app on Android or iOS and join their new My Bath & Body Works Rewards Program (select locations only), they may send out reward freebies (good for up to $16 retail value), where you can score free products.

Plus, you can even try new products or favorites from the signature collections that normally don’t go on sale.

Hip Tip: Call your local store to make sure you can take advantage of these app deals and freebies.

5. Shop ahead of the sale to score your fave items, then get cash back.

That’s right! You don’t have to shop during the sale to take advantage of the best pricing! Bath & Body Works guarantees the best prices for up to 14 days after your purchase, so if you find a better deal during the sale, score a one-time price adjustment!

Hip Tip: This means you can shop before the sale to get the most popular scents before they’re gone!

Bath & Body Works offers a very generous return policy. If for any reason at all you are unhappy with a purchase, you can return any item at any time.

Bath & Body Works return policy:

Returns with a receipt: An exchange or refund will be issued based on the original tender (except that debit card purchases will be refunded in cash). All applicable promotions, offers, free items, and coupons granted at the time of purchase will be prorated and applied to the refund amount.

Returns without a receipt: Your return will be subject to the return policy posted at the time of your return. Bath & Body Works will accept up to $250 in non-receipted returns with a 90 day period (this does not include defective merchandise). An exchange or merchandise credit will be issued based on the lowest selling price of the item, factoring in all applicable promotions, discounts, offers, free items (as part of a qualifying purchase) and coupons that may have applied.

    • NV2007

I just emailed it to you 🙂

      • Melissa

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. 🙂

If you’re shopping online, the website will have a code for $10 off $40 purchase.

    • Freda Aronowitz

I think this stuff about cookies and stacking coupons and stuff is unfair we buy from you all the time especially on holidays and I feel that we spend enough money on merchandise from your store and others and I feel that this is just another way of you all trying to rip us off for more money or make it harder for us to make a deal it just makes me not purchase any of your items anymore why can’t you just let us buy your stuff when it’s on sale at times we pay full price and it’s pretty expensive and even sometimes when it’s on sale it’s expensive then to can’t you just give people a do you at times I mean really give me a break I don’t think you treat people fair .I use to order from you. a lot,!! but this stuff just disappoints me so much I don’t know if I will order from you anymore not if you got to go through this

What is the lowest price you have been able to get the 3-wick candles for? Even during the candle sale a while ago – is $8 a stock-up price? same question for the soaps?

    • NV2007

IME, $8 is a stock-up price on candles (I like them, I don’t go crazy for them). I try to grab soaps closer to $2.25 each before tax but honestly, the price I just paid for all of the soaps I grabbed (I I got some sanitizers), it’s close enough IMO. I paid, when all was done, approx $2.38 per hand soap (average) delivered to my door plus tax. And my store had next to nothing for soap selection (sale items) when I went a couple of weeks ago so I’m not going to bother making the 45 min RT drive to try again. I just grabbed 15 soaps and a 5pk of PocketBacs (Thank you ones that I will give to my kids teachers with their end of year gifts) for just $45.04 shipped plus tax. Not a bad price IMO.

      • NV2007

$45.04 shipped INCLUDING tax, not plus tax. Oops.

I think waiting for the semi annual sale, then I had a 20% off coupon is the way to do it. I STOCKED up and have a ton for Christmas presents next year

    • caroline

I’m thinking to stock up for the next year teachers’ present, but I’m not sure what’s should be included in the package so the teacher won’t think it’s too cheap.

      • Kruiz528

I think any gift would be appreciated and shows you are thinking of them 🙂

      • PrincessMom

I agree with Kruiz528, they’ll appreciate that you thought of them at all. I tend to try sticking to consumables because they’re likely to get several gifts and there’s only so many “#1 teacher” mugs someone can use. 😉 One of the candles would make a nice gift on its own, or you could add a small box of chocolates. If you went with something like hand soap, you could give a couple of hand soaps with a pretty hand towel or the kitchen lemon soap with a nice set of pot holders.

        • NV2007

I bought some for teacher gifts with the “thank you” PocketBacs and I’m putting a summery hand towel (Kohls has some really nice ones that are neutral with starfish or sand dollars on them – BOGO 50% – with Kohls Cash I had and coupons, I paid about $5 each and I’m getting $5 back in Kohls Cash for picking them up). I plan to put a $10 Target GC with them, wrap in cellophane, and that will be their end of year gifts (3 preschool teachers).

      • Patty

        Bottle of wine lol 😂

      • J

I think they’ll appreciate anything. Afterall, the original price will be on each item (on the bottom), not any sales price. The next Semi Annual Sale is usually sometime in June, but HIP2SAVE always keeps us posted. The Semi Annual Sale is always the way to go. Check Raise for discounted gift cards as well.

    • ddd0319

I’ve given teachers just the hand soap for Christmas before. There are lots of cute ideas and free tags to print on Pinterest. I think teachers know people are on a budget and appreciate consumables and not mugs! 😉 Just a soap to me isn’t cheap but thoughtful and affordable too. I have 5 kids so we can’t give expensive gifts.

  4. Michaelle

Does anyone know if you can use more than one coupon?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Only one coupon will apply per order online. The only coupons that will stack together in store are those that are mailed together. Hope this helps!

  5. Arielle Bella

What am I missing? I was just at BBW and hand soaps are 6 for 26. Nothing for 2.50. Help please! Thank you

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

They have some on clearance for only $2.50, Arielle Bella!

      • Arielle Bella

Ahhh ok thanks. The store I went to didn’t have any that other than the 6 for 26. Thank you

  6. Kelly

If anyone has an extra in store coupon I would greatly appreciate it!! My email is kellybellyishere@yahoo.com

  7. Valerie

Anybody have an extra in-store coupon you’re not planning to use? I’d love one! havoc3332@netzero.net Thanks!!!

  8. Barbie

    Online they have $1.62 wallflowers!!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks, Barbie! We’ll be sure to check it out!

  9. lorelei

I’m a teacher. I appreciate any gift that a student gives me. I definitely don’t think anything from Bath and Body looks “too cheap”. I’m on a budget too.🙂

  10. Renee

FYI I was at the store today and online is way cheaper for hand soaps. When I asked the lady, she said sometimes the prices are different. 😡 so I ordered online instead

  11. Sara Luna Contreras

How do you coupons by email? I only get them in the mail.

  12. Marjorie

Does anyone have a 20 percent coupon?
