In case you haven’t heard, Dollar Tree recently announced a price increase from $1 to $1.25 by 2022, though some stores have already begun implementing this change. While these $1 prices are still valid online, your local Dollar Tree may have them in-store for slightly more.

My dollar trees were already sold out of most of their Christmas stuff and I went to two stores!

I bought 10 of those gnomes a month ago, they had hundreds on the shelf and now i see they are recalled. 🙁 I already gave some away. I guess I’ll call my local DT to see how they go about the recall. They do smell very funky, I thought it was just me but makes sense that they are infested with mold because they do stink strange.
Two of my local stores had signs about the recall. One of the signs said to throw them away if you or a family member is “ sensitive to the spores”, the other said to bring the receipt with or without them. I would just toss them because it’s nit worth it. It kind sucks that you used them as gifts and it’s going to be embarrassing to tell the recipient but, it’s better then them getting sick.
Was it just the big ones? I have the two small ones that came as a pair for ornaments and one that came alone a little bigger but also with a hanging ribbon for ornaments. How do I know if these are part of the recall? I can’t find it online
Yep, they are infested with mold. The stores are NOT supposed to still be selling them. They received a remove and destroy notice for them about a month ago.
My dollar tree is now $1.25 now as well.

The dollartree stores in my area have THREE different price range. Some stuff is $1.25, $3.00, or $5.00. It felt like I was shopping at Target spot section or Five Below.

Do we know which gnomes had the recall? Was it all of them or just the ones pictured in this post? I purchased some of the small ones that are ornaments and they are in my girls bedroom Xmas tree. I had no idea there was a recall and I can’t find any info regarding this recall. Help!

Does anyone have a link to the Gnome recall? I can’t find anything official on this and I bought a bunch of these!! I definitely don’t want them if they’re moldy!! But I don’t even see anything on Dollar Tree’s website about this?
