Give Back With These DIY Care Kits | Perfect for Gifts or Food Bank Donations!
Grab some gallon-sized Ziploc bags and create DIY care kits to spread a little kindness. Try these easy ideas for meal kits, cookie kits, and cozy keep-warm kits.

‘Tis the season to give back and make a difference (if you are able to).
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference. During the busy holiday season, it’s easy to forget that many people around us are struggling. Families stretching every dollar, seniors feeling alone, or neighbors facing tough times. A simple gesture, like a bag of warm essentials or a homemade meal kit, can remind someone that they’re cared for!

Creating a DIY care kit is a beautiful way to give back without spending much. These little bundles of comfort can be tailored for different needs and are doable at every budget as a thoughtful gift. I’ll be sharing a few ideas for inspiration, from warm meals, a sweet treat, to cozy winter gifts. Each one carries a message of love and hope.
Here are a few easy ways to start spreading kindness, one bag at a time!

Oh good! Thanks for being here Angela!
This touches my heart. Lina, your kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness are truly inspiring to so many of us. You are awesome, thank you! Hip2Save seems to have an amazing staff of wonderful people. I’m grateful to have found this app and it’s one of my favorites. Thank you!
Oh i am so glad you enjoyed this one and thanks so much for your sweet comment! That made my day! We appreciate you ❤️
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing but you don’t have how to cook the meals and some people (or young teens/kids) may not know how to prepare them. I was hoping you had cards that could be printed or directions for dinners. Love the care kits as well.
You’re welcome Ruth! 🥰 The white chili packet has the instructions for that meal, but you could write out or print off a basic tuna noodle casserole recipe found online for that option. Hope this helps!
