I highly recommend Home Chef. Funnily enough, I am actually a chef myself! That said, I cook meals for my husband to take to work for lunch, and I was sick of pitching meal ideas to him every week. He also is on a weight loss journey, and he’s currently taking a GLP-1 (40 lbs down for him!). Home Chef lets you filter out meals by calorie conscious, GLP-1 supported, protein, and more. So he can scroll and pick for himself from Home Chef’s offerings that week. It saves me a ton of time and a lot of headache. I can cook up a gourmet feast myself, but whenever I ask my husband what he wants me to make, I can guarantee he will only list a roster of 3 repeating meals because he can’t think of anything else. The portions are pre-measured. Everything arrives with ice packs in insulated boxes. I’ve only had a few minor issues, and we’ve been customers for about two years now. Whatever issues we’ve had have always been easily fixed. I can recall once that our delivery was delayed by a day (shipping issue, not Home Chef’s fault), but Home Chef quickly offered a refund or a credit via the chat feature. It was resolved within minutes without ever talking to a live person. One other time a container of sauce had leaked, and again it was resolved with refund/credit within minutes. No major issues otherwise. Definitely recommend! I have a whole binder of the saved recipe cards. I’ve never went back to use them because, again, I am actually a chef. My only minor complaint about Home Chef is disposing of the delivery boxes. That’s about it.
