So what’s in this Starbucks secret menu salted caramel white mocha drink?!
You won’t find this drink hack anywhere else since it’s a salted caramel cream cold brew with a little Hip2Save twist. 😉 Unlike all the other secret menu drink hacks we’ve shared, the base of this drink is on the actual beverage menu, making this order totally mobile-friendly! Cheers!
Here’s what’s in the Salted Caramel drink:
- Salted caramel cream cold brew (the drink base)
- White mocha
- Toffee nut
- Caramel drizzle
Here’s how to order on the Starbucks mobile app:
- Choose the “Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew”
- Change to Venti
- Go to flavors & remove the caramel
- Then add 3 pumps of white mocha
- Add 3 pumps of toffee nut
- Go to toppings & add caramel drizzle
Or if you don’t want to order through the app, here’s what you need to say to your barista when you get to Starbucks:
“Hey! Can I please have a venti Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew with 3 pumps white mocha & 3 pumps toffee nut, but no caramel flavor. Add caramel drizzle overtop of the salted caramel foam. Thanks!”
When ordering different sizes for this drink, make sure to adjust the number of white mocha and toffee nut pumps accordingly:
- Tall: 1 white mocha, 1 toffee nut
- Grande: 2 White Mocha, 2 Toffee nut
- Venti: 3 white mocha, 3 toffee nut
- Trenta: 4 white mocha, 4 toffee nut’
Wanna mix it up even more?
Prefer something sweeter? As a tip, you can make this Venti drink less sweet to suit your tastes by doing just 2 pumps of white mocha and 2 pumps of toffee nut and just adjust the pumps accordingly if you’re ordering other sizes.
Prefer a lighter coffee? Add sweet cream if you prefer a lighter coffee.
Need something stronger? You can also replicate this recipe with Nitro Cold Brew, instead of the standard Cold Brew, giving you the extra oomph you need to power through your day. Just keep in mind that their Nitro Cold Brew is not served with ice (but is still served cold) and you’ll likely only be able to get it as big as a grande because of the way the nitrogen infuses the cold brew. Regardless, we’re sure you’ll love it!
Here’s what Stetson had to say about our new concoction:
“This salted caramel white mocha has the perfect blend of sweet & salty. You instantly get a toffee taste in your very first sip (so good!) and the caramel adds such a nice touch. It’s not too sweet and the flavors make themselves known without being too much.
I think it’s a perfect drink for fall but even though it’s not even here yet, the combination of flavors literally makes you feel like it’s already here! This salted caramel drink is rich, creamy, and so refreshing!”

Just be careful adding pumps of syrup to your drink! You’ll be adding on 5g of sugar per toffee syrup pump and 11g of sugar per white mocha pump. That’s an additional 48 g of sugar for the recipe above! 🤦♀️
So just the added pumps of syrup in the recipe above is more grams of sugar than the AHA (American Heart Association) recommends both for women and men per day!
Ohh wow, I didn’t even realize that. Thank you for the reminder 🙂
That’s a great reminder, Whit! Thank you for sharing that with us.
This sounds amazing!
Doesn’t it, Olivia?! I know what I’ll be getting the next time I head to Starbucks!
I am drinking it right now and it’s delicious!! I decided to give it a try today as it was happy hour.
As stated above, it is sweet, so I will get this as a special treat once in awhile. 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed it, Sarah!
