This Reader Created a National Park Display for Her Daughter’s Badge Collection
Have a little one who enjoys the great outdoors?
There’s nothing more peaceful than spending time with nature! It’s even more special when you share a love for the outdoors with family and friends. This week’s Happy Friday reader, Varsha, created a sentimental display to keep track of memories of the adventures she has with her little one!
I made this heart-shaped holder for the national park badges collection. The heart-shaped sign is from Dollar Tree and so are the other supplies. I had extra cloths, so I cut them into the heart shape and stuck them together with glue and a stapler.
My toddler loves visiting national parks, hiking, and walking on trails. All national parks give badges for the Junior Ranger Program, so she’s collecting the badges for our memories. This way, we also remember where we visited. I decided to make this to display all of the USA national parks badges.
What an adorable keepsake for you to remember these times with your kiddo, Varsha! Thanks for sharing this creative hack with us. It would be fun to play around with different fabrics and designs to match your kid’s favorite color, too!
HAPPY FRIDAY!

Cute idea. The Junior Ranger program is fantastic. My daughter is 10 and found it fun, interesting and challenging.
Thank you!!!
We live in Georgia and our state parks also have a junior ranger program. It’s free. My kids have collected 10 so far. A ranger even swore them in as junior rangers last week. They were so excited!
Yes ! My kids love too !!!😊
