More Happy Friday

We LOVE a good Dollar Tree find!😍

There are so many reasons we love taking a shopping trip to Dollar Tree and this week’s Happy Friday reader, Kay, just gave us one more!

She spotted these Surefresh Reusable Mini Containers and Lids 10-Pack for…you guessed it, a dollar! And she gave us several different examples of how she uses these little storage holders in her home…

Surefresh storage containers in store

There’s an item at Dollar Tree that I love so much and want to encourage my fellow Hipsters to try. It’s a product that has so many versatile uses and only costs $1!!! It is the Surefresh Reusable Mini Containers and Lids 10-Pack. I stock up almost every time I see them at a Dollar Tree location.

They come in two shapes: rectangle or circle. You can find them in the Tupperware section or hanging along other aisles (they are usually hanging at my store).

I have used these containers for miniature ABC Learning Sets, baby shower favors, toy storage, and even an Easter activity (jellybean prayer). If all else fails, you can always use them for storage of any kind, including food (sauces, small snacks, candies), arts & crafts (buttons, safety pins, modeling clay), and any tiny items…the sky’s the limit. Ten mini containers for $1? You can’t go wrong. They even make great gifts.

Thanks, Kay for your helpful tip on these awesome little storage containers from Dollar Tree!

These mini containers are a staple in my household as well. My husband uses them to hold condiments in his lunch, my daughter uses them to store her LPS toy accessories, and I use them to hold tiny hair clips. These really are so useful and you can’t beat 10 for a buck!

I keep my earbud/headphones in one of them in my bag. I know those small zippered pouches are popular lately, but I prefer a hardsided case. These work perfectly.

So cute! I’ll have to look for these next time I’m at dollar tree. I use the shoebox size for organizing lots of things around the house.

I desperately need containers for little Lego sets.

That’s a great idea for the ear buds! I also use these in my kids school lunches for dips like ranch/peanut butter. They’re perfect since they’re small you don’t have to put a lot in there which means when my kindergartner doesn’t put the lid back on all the way I don’t have a big mess to clean up!

I love the Betty Crocker containers from DT, but the larger Sure Fresh container lids don’t seal well, IMO. I don’t trust them for anything liquid or saucy.

I had a dog with recurrent UTIs – I bought a ladle from DT to catch the urine specimen in and then a pack of these 10 for $1 containers to put the urine in to take to the vet! I use a sharpie to write the dog’s name on the container and still put it in a ziplock bag just in case I have any leaks – at 10 for $1 I leave them at the vet for them to throw away of course! It’s a totally different use but they really came in handy for this!
