I wish there were one near me:(

  2. Michelle

i thought the coupon was buy deodorant get body wash free?

    • carolyn

Its is buy deoderant, get bodywash free. So you can’t combine that with $2 off the bodywash coupon, right?

    • Kristina

It is- I used it last week.

    • bfam

I agree. That scenario doesn’t fly!

      • SaraJC

The $2/1q is for the body wash right? So you cant combine it with the B1 Gillete deoderant G1 Gillete body wash free q. I was excited about this one but then looked through my q’s and didnt seem right lol. Theres a $1/1q for the deoderant unless it was a regional thing.

  3. jenna

i have tried to use a coupon for the olay body wash. I used the venus coupon for 2.00, and the buy one venus get the olay wash for free and i have coupons for 1.00 off the olay wash. they said i could not do that since i was getting the wash for free. i said ok 🙂

  4. Anon

It’s a buy the deodorant get the body wash free, so you can use the $1 off any Gillette deodorant and get the body wash free.

  5. Leyla

I’m glad to read that everyone else is thinking the same thing. I thought I might be going crazy. lol

  6. Nicole

Also, they had some Gillette Fusion razors (not part of gift card deal) marked down to $4.24. So after $4 coupon, it’s only a quarter OP.The venus ones were marked down to that too, so only $2 when used the 2 dollar coupon (plus free body wash.) These are in a cheaper package, but same thing, I’d rather pay less out of pocket than get a gift card back.

  7. vicki

To find out in what supplement a coupon is located, go to http://www.couponmom.com and use her Grocery Coupon Database. It will pop up instantly to tell you where that coupon is that you’re looking for. A wonderful, free tool. Thanks to all who provide this for us to save so much!

  8. peever

Yes, the coupon is buy deodorant and get the body wash for free. But $2 off the body wash isn’t too bad of a deal.

  9. mkw

My Target had the Men’s Dove body multi-wash/soap packages reduced to $1.98. Matched these with the $1 Target coupons and stacked those with the manufacturer $1.75 and $1.50 coupons (depending on which combination I bought). I made money (yipee). . . nothing beeped (yipee). . . AND the clerk was not a pain as they usually are at this particular Target store (huge relief). Now. . . I have lots of mens’ soap. I mean lots. . .

  10. Christie

Print limit has been reached on the $1.00 Thai Kitchen coupon.

But, I did find a nice $0.40 coupon for Mike-sell’s Kettle Cooked Chips, don’t see those coupons very often. 😉

  11. mary boquitas

COUPON ON 2/7 IS FOR BUY 1 DEODORANT GET BODY WASH FREE
    PLEASE POST IT RIGHT PLEASE
AND NO U CAN’T COMBINED IT WITH THE 2QFRO BODY WASH
C’MON DON’T PUSH COUPON STOCKING CAUSE AFFECT US ALL AND THAT’S WHY STORES RAISE PRICES

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Use correct spelling, stop typing in all caps, and quit being so rude!! Ever heard of a mistake? Geez… and that’s not why stores raise prices lol…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a thought Mary…if you know how to do all of this, and obviously have no tolerance for a mistake, then please start your own blog and post the deals.

If and when you do start your own deal blog, please let us know.

      • LeeAnna

You guys are funny!! And yeah Mary, don’t be rude!! Colin is awesome and I’m sure all of us have saved money due to her blog 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

SHE MADE A MISTAKE SHE IS NOT PUSHING ANYTHING ITS CALLED FREE AGENCY.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a side note- There is no “free” agency – it came at a price for Someone. 🙂

BUT– Yes, leave Collin alone. People do make mistakes and I will take any of her mistakes for all the great deals she scores us. I could never come up with all the deals she posts.

        Thanks Collin!!!

    • Melissar

So are you one of those people who do not make mistakes? Stop typing in all caps and read the comments and realize it is a mistake and will be fixed.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

And lets all break out the lemons!!!!

    • Chi

Leave Mary alone. I appreciate when someone speaks out. This mistake has been around since someone showed the preview coupon insert for the 2/7 P&G, several blogs posted.
Another thing, I do appreciate all the work that goes into this blog BUT Ms. Collin does get rewarded one way or another as acknowled on her disclaimer.

      • Tracy

There is a difference between speaking up to correct something, and being nasty. Nobody is here for that. If you read the comments from the top, everybody was picking up on the mistake pretty quickly. Nobody needs to be Nasty to the people on here or to Collin. The point of posting comments is to help others, not scold people.

  12. Felicia

I found these body washes on sale for this price a few weeks ago and stocked up, it’s a really big bottle for only $1! My husband told me I couldn’t buy him anymore body wash for a LONG time, lol. Thanks Collin for posting all these great deals!

    • Erin

Me, too! We still have four free Gillette bodywashes and three Men’s care–and my husband’s still on the bottle of Irish Spring I got free last year at CVS! I sent him to Rite Aid a couple weeks ago, and he said “more body wash?” And I said “yep–we’re buying it in order to get super-cheap rechargeable batteries.” I carefully mapped the scenario for him, and he ends up coming back with an even better deal somehow. I think there was a coupon on the batteries.

      • mamabear

WTH!! How did you manage that??? The only thing my hubs does to participate is to buy the newspaper!– 🙁 He doesn’t share the coupon love 🙁

        • Tracy

I can’t even take my husband to the store with me, let alone send him by himself with a mission to get the right items. When he is with me he constantlly goes off plan and starts putting over priced items in the cart. I love him, but I can’t take him shopping. LOL

        • Erin

Well, neither does mine. When I get excited about a deal and ask him how much he thinks I spent, he says, “You made five bucks!” Totally takes the wind out everything! I had him make that trip because it was a straightforward deal with maybe four or five items.

        • Brian

I am the other way around. My wife hates shopping with coupons. She is a school teacher and only helps out on her breaks. I do most of the shopping. I don’t like the shopping aspect of it but do enjoy the savings. The only thing she helps me with is getting the news papers. I don’t miss any sunday football!!!!

      • Lacey

I got my husband doing the deals at CVS last year. He is pretty good with it. I pull all coupons and write down everything he is to do. The only issue I have had is if he forgets to give a coupon. He won’t fight like I would to get it done the right way even if you have to start over. Other than that, he is just fine. I think it made him appreciate more what I do. Collin, ought to do a challenge on here where readers get their husband to go do the shopping/deals and video it. Wouldn’t that just be a riot to watch!!!! I hope she reads this b/c that would be entertainment at its best. They would have to buy whatever deals are good that week. If tampons are on sale, well, they would just have to suck it up and decide whether to get sport or super…LOL!

        • Tracy

I LOVE IT! Please Collin, take Lacey’s idea and do a “Follow me Monday, Husband Addition”.

        • mamabear

          (plop)- fell out of chair…
          rofl!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

          • Lacey

Ladies, we could so set our husbands up. Anyone need some K-Y? Gax-X?? Monistat?? My husband actually wouldn’t care at all, but my brother-in-law can’t even stand the word pads & he has 3 teenage daughters.

        • Denise

That’s the best idea!!!! Oh my eyes are watering I’m laughing so hard!!!

        • SaraJC

I totally agree Lacey about the video thing. Thats so funny. I also do the same with my hubby. I map out my deals and then explain to the hubby how to use the coupons, RR’s, Rite aid q’s, etc. Sometimes the cashiers will give him a hard time about certain coupons so he then calls me to see what to do. So funny. I know he gets embarrassed sometimes but at least he’s put the effort in helping me so we can get out the store faster. I must admit he does hate shopping by now but he puts up with it because he knows we are saving so much lol

          • crystsl

i am laughing so hard right now…we need to get collin to do this..my hubby don’t even like the words SHOPPING,,but he does enjoy all the savings…right on

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

man so when she post all good sales no one complains but when she makes a mistake you throw a fit. HOW ABOUT THANK YOU FOR ALL SAVING US SOME TIME AND DOING ALL THE WORK FOR US.

  14. Melissa

Everyone makes mistakes sometimes! If you know what to do then do it!
Thanks Collin for all your help! And after all you are only human 😉

  15. jackie

how rude ! thanks colin i love your site!

  16. Anon

No kidding people be thankful for what she does for all of us! Love you Collin and your site 😉

  17. Christie

BTW; I got a coupon in the mail for FREE Excedrin Product, maximum value of $5.99. Kroger has a coupon you can load on your store card for $2.00 off a 100ct or larger Excedrin or Express Gels 80ct. Will see how big of a bottle I can get for free! 🙂

    • Nicole

      Was this on Cellfire?

      • Christie

This was directly on Kroger’s website. At the top of the page, run your mouse over “In Store”, and then click on coupons. From there, click on the digital coupon box, then you’ll log on (or register) so the coupons can be loaded onto your card.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for all the great deals you have saved me and my family so much. My husband is also saying I have enough body wash for him to last a lifetime. LOL

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ugg there were so many good coupons in the 2/7 pg, and I wasnt able to get that paper 🙁 🙁

    • Jen

See if the newspaper has any more (if you are close). I have forgotten to get some newspapers and was able to get some a month old by going to the actual building (for some reason I can’t recall what you call that place right now! 🙂

  20. mkw

I use my extra body washes in our liquid hand soap dispensers. Though, this doesn’t work well with the men’s body washes as they have such a heavy, masculine scent. When other body washes are on sale/free/etc. , I just look for scents that would work for showering and in the soap dispensers.

    • SaraJC

hmm… ive never thought of that. doesnt sound too bad to do that. Though with all the cheap hand soap Ive gotten at target i may have to wait until they are gone to try that lol

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve never tried the Thai noodles before, now will be a good time to try- Thanks 🙂

    • Christie

The site was all out of prints when I tried. Were you able to print?

      • Jana

I was able to with the zip code given

  22. Tracy

Thanks again Collin for all the deals. Even the ones that don’t quite go according to plan. You are appreciated. 🙂

  23. Jennifer

I love this deal! I bought extras this time and will save for Christmas. This last year I put together a “necessities box” for all the men in our family. I have never seen people more excited about a box of toothpaste, deoderant, razors, shower gel, shower scrubbies, toothbrushes and moisturizer! I spent approx. $2.50 per box. No one knew what I spent and they all were thrilled. Think Christmas on all these b1g1 deals!

    • Lacey

I did that to for all the families at my in-laws. I had even gotten detergent when it was under a $1 after coupon. I also did gift baskets like that for all the teachers at Mother’s Day Out. I thought they are going to think I am weird, but those ladies were so amazed. Their faces lit up and I got huge hugs. I felt ever so encouraged to do this again. I have been giving to people in need, but sometimes you worry you will offend someone who you don’t know if they are in need or not. But, I have learned that most of us are in need right now in one way or another. I tell people at my church to not buy deodorant, toothpaste, or shampoo. I have plenty!

      • mamabear

Lacey, to the comment up above- stop it! you are killing me!!!! lol

AND, to both of you, thank you for proving that not all couponers are not greedy, hoarding, mongers that clean out every shelf!

Collin, thanks for providing us with an awesome site to help us save so much that we can be able to make these awesome baskets to give away!!!

        Three cheers for cheap Gillette!!

  24. terri

Bless your heart Collin for all your hard work and all the money you have saved me in the last four or five months, I tell everyone about your site. I look forward to having a day off to look at all the deals. Love you, don’t ever change.

  25. mary boquitas

for all the ones don’t like my opinion u can open your hole and save your opinions cause I don’t give a buck for them I wrk at taget promotions dept and that’s why I know we have to change prices and change promos also will send a memo for stores for this GILLETTE COUPON NOT APPLICABLE u are trying to do.

    • Leyla

You are an idiot! You work for Target, no wonder they are so screwed up. You can’t even write proper English. Everyone here noticed the error, so take a chill pill. NO ONE HERE is trying to do deals that are not legitimate.

      • mary boquitas II

Damn sister they are trolling about u let’s have some lunch and laugh about this
        lolz

      • Chantel

That’s quite a sterotype you got going there.

    • Tracy

What are you even talking about. This is the second comment that you have posted, and neither of them have made any sense. Go away.

    • JMO

It’s just the way you stated it. When you type in all caps it comes across as you SCREAMING. You were quick to correct her mistakes but your posts are full of them. Collin does her best & sometimes mistakes happen.

    • Chantel

YEAH RIGHT! I work at Target and there is no “Target Promotions Department.” Stop trying to sound important! We all know you just made that up.

  26. Janet

Sidebar: Went to Kroger yesterday (Grand Prairie TX) and they had an endcap with shelves full of Stovetop Stuffing mix on “manager’s special” for 2 for $1.00 (chicken flavor only). Doesn’t expire until November. With the recent Stovetop coupon ($1.00 off 2), I was able to grab a bunch of free boxes. : )

    • Tracy

Yippee! I love it when that happens. Last week Target had Hefty One Zip bags for $1 a box. I had 16 $1 coupons. 16 free boxes! Yippee!

  27. Rita

    Dear Mary,

Just took a screen shot of your comment and forwarded it to target for them to forward to the “promotions” department. Really hoping you used your real name because I am positive they will want to talk to you about using that kind of language. Thank you

  28. mamabear

Mary, take your run-on sentences and terrible spelling to an english class! We don’t want your negitivity here! Oh, btw- all we are doing is using coupons to save money- not robbing a bank – so send all the memos you like!

    • Leyla

LMAO!!! Exactly what I was thinking. What is it with all these Hip 2 Save haters lately?

  29. Ann

Don’t feed it guys, let it go.

  30. Tracy

I will never understand why people who don’t like Collin, or enjoy her site, or enjoy using coupons, come here to comment. 99.9% of us love Collin, love her site and love coupons. I love knowing when others get good deals. Some people just love misery.

    • mamabear

They are called trolls, they love drama and starting crap (such as the whole lemon debacle). Most of their comments lead to other topics and they are here for the sole purpose to start junk…

I agree with you Ann, but it is so hard to do when they are rude to Collin…

      • A.Marie

I agree with you totally…it is so hard to just sit back and ignore the rude comments. Collin is AWESOME!
        🙂

  31. Quiche

great deal! I just scored 2 sets with an extra $1 off gillette deodorant coupon they let me use. So, all four items for $1!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

do you have transaction details, would love to know what you did so i can try?

  32. Heather Reed

Hi Collin!! Thanks for this update! I love your site too!! It’s like opening up a present as kids all over again every morning when i get on here! 🙂 Can’t wait to see everyone’s savings, so A HUGE THANKS TO COLLIN!!!
Target is really on a roll this week, right ladies?? I just wanted to let you all know that the “MIL” = missing in location, LOL, coupon for the Travel Size Secret Clinical Protection Deodorant was included in the recent free product sample offer that was mailed out from VocalPoint. That’s the only exact dollar amount coupon that I had. I looked all through my inserts & couldn’t find a thing! Did anyone else find this coupon in any of the inserts??

    • Korrine

Heather…I definitely got the $2 Secret Clinical Protection coupon from a newspaper insert…I just don’t know which week it was. I’m not a member of VocalPoint, so I couldn’t have found it there…maybe it was regional?? I’m not sure! I hope someone else is able to find it and get in on the deal though 🙂

  33. Debbie in PA

Thanks! I had a coupon book that Target had sent me, and was able to use a .75 off any soap and .75 off any deodorant Target coupon (althougth interestingly, they rang up as manufacturer coupons). I used the BOGO coupon (buy deodorant, get body wash), and the $2 off bodywash coupon……so..my net OOP was .74 for both the deodorant and body wash!

I was all set to do the Olay-Fusion-Venus transaction mentioned in an earlier post, but my store had NO Venus razors. Oh well.

As a consolation, Valentine’s stuff was 75% off, and I got a cute Barbie activity thingie (art set?) for my niece, a valentines Magic 8 Ball that I will use with my scout troop (camping next weekend), a Wilton cookie heart pan, candy (!!!) and some mini bath sets that will be cute girly gifts.

  34. Liz

I was at my local meijers yesterday and was looking in the soap area and the Gillette body wash was on clearance for $2.79. I used the coupon for $2.00 off. Someone had put the regular priced Gillette in front of the clearance items. So the next time you go to Meijer’s take a look.

  35. Barb

$2 Coupon for Secret clinical Strength is in 2/7 PG insert.

    • heather reed

Thanks, Barb! ;( I didn’t get the 2/7 newspaper – grrr, oh well, glad all of you were able to score on this!!! Thanks again Barb & everyyone else!

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I cant find the $2 secret clinical q’s….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

on any clipping sites or ebay that is…hmm

  37. Shelly T.

I was informed at Target tonight that they are not allowed to take a coupon that with a higher value than the item you are buying. They informed me that they are not supposed to price adjust the coupon down, and can’t allow the customer to “make money” on a purchase. As in, “What if everyone came in with a coupon, and got 3 cents back?” I did the Right Guard, Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo, Soap Buddies etc. They went ahead and took my coupons tonight, but really wanted to make sure that they would NOT be taking them again.
I also realized when I got home that they did not take off the dollar amount for the “Free Herbal Essence styling product when purchasing a shampoo or conditioner”. After all the hassle I am not sure if I want to go back to Target and get the $2.99 refunded or not.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Their coupon policy states that if the coupon amount is higher than the price of the item that they will price adjust it….hmm

      • Shelly T.

Interesting. The CSR told me that their coupon policy is to not adjust it down. I will have to look at the coupon policy and print it out and take with me next time.

      • Shelly T.

Okay, I printed out the Target coupon policy and it plainly says, “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied”
        Thanks!

    • Heidi S

Just went there last night and the manager told me they no longer take coupons for trial size items! I showed him my printed policy and they still would not do it!!! He asked me if I would like to go ahead and buy the bigger sizes so that I can use my coupons … I was like: Are you serious?! Bummer … I really like Target usually

      • Kari

When I go to Target I ALWAYS scope out the cashiers and pick the most likely to push my coupons thru. Then I butter them up with a friendly conversation to throw them off a little 🙂

        • Shelly T.

Kari, I do the same thing. Look for a “good” cashier, have a friendly conversation etc. Didn’t work this time she called the CSR, and that’s when I was told about their policy.

        • Chantel

That is so funny, “buttering up the cashier!” I am a cashier at target, and I love it when people are nice to me, there are a lot of meanies out there! 🙂 I can’t believe all the bad experiences at Target that people have, trust me they are not all like that. My store is very coupon friendly. In fact all the Michigan stores should be! We are in a horrible economic crisis, and no one should feel bad for trying to save money! Don’t let the stores get away with it! If the CSR gives you a hard time ask for the store manager, and just keep complaing! I know it sounds horrible to say that, but that is what you have to do to get things right. I wish all the mean and hateful cashiers at my store would get fired! I always tell them they are haters! You should see their faces when I go through their lines with all my coupons and then use my employee discount, too! Next time just tell them that maybe they should coupon, too, and then with the extra money they saved maybe they could afford surgery to remove the stick from their rear! 🙂

  38. Denise

I did this yesterday at my Target and the cashier adjusted the coupon value down no complaints.

I was also able to use both the Gillette coupons when I purchased the deodorant and body wash.

Thanks Collin for all you do! 🙂 Because of you my husband and I can once again afford to enjoy weekly date night!
